A Concrete Poem

A boy in his late teens joins a strange religious cult. He meets a good looking young man and falls in love. As time passes the cult leader starts to go crazy and finaly takes his anger on the unfortunate teen.

So far it's not anywhere near done yet but i'm hoping it's good

A series of flash fiction chapters which tell their own individual story, "James, Don't Falter" overall explores the innermost feelings of a young man and his struggle to hang on to the guy he loves for more than a few moments.

Christus finds it hard settling into his new school, especially as Laurie's followed him. But how will Laurie take it when Toby shows up?

Carl Waite goes out for his morning walk in the park, and along the way he passes an old man sitting on a park bench. Since the man looks sad and appears down in the dumps, Carl wishes him Merry Christmas. The old man, who we later learn is Bob Swartz, responds, “What is there to be merry about?” Carl immediately stops so he can find out why the man reacted this way.
