No one ever said love couldn’t fall between the cracks. Two people meet by random chance online, and then in person. In a world that has turned upside down, they are all trying to find places of safety and refuge they can call home.

"You ever meet those people, that seem to look not at you, as a person, but into your soul? Everything that you are, you've become, and you'll be. You don't know how to fix it, and they can see right through your fucking facade. I was terrified."

Seemingly apathetic, Caden struggles to deal with daily issues - or really, just to care at all. Though with the appearance of a red haired delinquent, things might start to change.

The air changes, flecks of ice decorate the ground. It's the season's first snowfall.

Shane and Adam were a fated disaster from the beginning. Shane didn't see it, he believed that all of their dreams were about to come true. He didn't know how close to the edge they were.
