A romance suggested by the song "Waltzing with Bears," a song by Dale Marxen adapted from the Dr. Seuss song of the same name. Although the "present day" of the story is 2011, the events related in it take place in the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s.

Somesh was resigned, if not content, to live and die in the same place as his mother, working for meagre wages and whatever scraps of food he could squirrel away for himself. But after a fateful game of dice, he found himself whisked away to parts unknown.

A young man finds love twice

The second installment of the Bridgemont Series starts in 1793. George Granger has been promoted to Lieutenant.

The day after Tombstone, Arizona's most famous gun battle, A.J. Ritter, the undertaker responsible for preparing the bodies of the victims, meets a young man who worked for the Clantons.

Wanted criminal Hong Shen finally meets his end after being stabbed in the back by a comrade. As he makes his final resting place under a dead plum tree, he submits to death.

Instead, he receives two choices: die, or be given a second chance.

To take the second chance means he must complete a trial in the past in order to return to the present. But what he doesn't know is that the trial isn't only difficult for him, but even more difficult for the person he must be to fulfill it.

An unfinished and cursed piano composition travels through three centuries, mysteriously intertwining the lives of two great artists. One was the brilliant composer of the work, the other became its celebrated performer.

The story starts with the fortunate discovery of a manuscript in the over-cover of the original score. From the mid-19th century it concludes at the dawn of the third millennium.

The story continues (from "Chronicles of an Academic Predator" and "1968") with a new narrator, Stefan, and a new era. This story is set in 1973-74, a period of history that is noted for events such as the Yom Kippur War, the Arab Oil Embargo, and Watergate. More than in past stories, economics are a big issue here, due to increasing inflation and an extended bear stock market.

This is the story of George Granger, a young aristocrat who joins the Royal Navy during the French Revolution/Napoleonic Wars. This is the first book, and tracks George as he joins his first ship in 1791

It is August of 2004, the month that the Olympics were held in Athens. Will Schluter will be there, then he'll start his freshman year at Harvard with his cousin Marie.
