NaPoWriMo - 2017 - 23. April 23 : A Life Fulfilled!!!

Prompt : Questions Before Dark
What questions would you ask at the end of a day, at the end of your life?

A Life Fulfilled!!!

Darkness creeps into those dispirited eyes
As life playbacks a talkie on minds display
A extreme flick of total seven minites
With largely emanating questions of life

A better son!? a brother! and a husband!?
Do I played the rightful part of a father!?
Have I looked at the delightful eyes of grands!?
A fine person to be around and a friend!?

Who am I!? What I did!? Wasn't enough!?
Is there more? More to remind! Or more to do!?
What else there would be!? Who's there to still get bond!?
What errands that are still destined to be left!?

Is this all a dieing heart to be think of!
A muddle pool for already disturbed soul!?
Or would it result in for success of life
And a platform for closing one's eyes, with peace!

A big thanks to Val for helping me by providing me the prompts. And thank you to all for spending your precious time for reading and reviewing for my poem. Undoubtedly all mistakes are mine.

Thanks Emi. Interesting, and a little sad and scary...

Yeah, I agree with you about the scary part. Actually it has been a challenge to write this poem. Like you have to imagine you are on the wage of dieing and have look into yourself and write. A tough challenge for a depressed soul like me. Glad you enjoyed being scary...

Thanks for investing your time to read and comment on my poems...

Dear Emi - such hard and unanswerable questions you pose in this poem. How difficult it is to look into the darkness and hear them echo into the caverns of time. But that you can pose them here in this form means both you and the reader - us - can ponder them, and maybe find a voice that will answer. But in all things, your words are powerful.

That was a huge compliment and I am honoured. Especially this poem was very strong to effect me even to write about it. I am glad you liked this much and put efforts support and appreciate me. Thank you so much for that.
