This is a continuation of my previous story, 'On My Deathbed.' In that story, Red says "I hope I’m wrong about there being nothing else. I came up with the idea for this fun story and decided to use Aero1107 from Deviantart and myself as two of the characters.

Robby, estranged from his brother Tanner after coming out as gay, builds a life with his husband Manny, marked by love, resilience, and family. Over the years, Tanner sends cards for milestones—graduation, birthdays, even Robby’s children’s births—but never bridges the gap in person. Haunted by past betrayals and unwilling to risk his hard-won happiness, Robby wrestles with the meaning of family, forgiveness, and whether some wounds can ever truly heal.

We return to Orono, Maine, where Detective Gennaro Saggio makes another appearance. This time, the killer is even harder to track down than was Parker Toliver, she of ‘The Fascinator Murders.’

Detective Gennaro Saggio’s first email of the new year announces a murder. Curiously, it is signed OOOI. The victim was a suspected arsonist, found dead in an abandoned warehouse. A suicide note was present, but the victim was handcuffed in a closed and chained tanning bed. The victim had previously been arrested, tried, and acquitted of first-degree murder, and arson.

Apparently, someone didn’t believe he was innocent.

The Silver Tongued Scoundrel

This is another of my stories from 2014. I decided to post it here because it's remained one of my faves, despite its flawed grammar.

Joshua has a huge crush on the school athlete, Scott.

Unable to attract Scott’s attention, Joshua finds a way to visit his idol’s house on afternoons when it is vacant. However, one afternoon he runs into the family’s cleaner, who mistakes him for Scott. A strange relationship develops between the two.

When he learns that Scott and his family are going on holidays, Joshua makes a plan to stay over in the house, but one night, while alone in the house he encounters an intruder.

Cooper Harmon is getting ready to start his freshman (1st) year of high school when his father notifies the family that he’s taking a new job and they’ll be moving. Cooper is not happy about leaving all his friends in Montclair, New Jersey and moving to Decatur, GA (a suburb of Atlanta) where he doesn’t know anyone. How is this going to work out?
