I want to send a hello out to Rudy Judy Now that is out of the way, I get to explain that I was away from home all week. I went up to the lake and stayed at the cabin (cottage to you Eastern North American folks). I worked my job all week up there, but it was more tolerable with looking out the window at the mountains across the lake. The lake was quiet most of the week but all the jet skies and boat surfing (is that what they call it ) made it noisy on Friday and brought back memories t- 5 comments

It seems that grade schools start their year all over the calendar. Some have been in school a couple of weeks already (planning for those snow-days) and some don't begin until this coming Wednesday (making up for snow-days at the end of the school year). So, those kiddos unlucky enough to not have air-con are in hot school rooms in August or June. -

I started back at School on Tuesday, but the children didn't return till Thursday. So I only had to cook 2 days this week. -
No, Bill. that is so 2000's with the water skiing . Sort of like the last time I got on waterskies Nowadays, you buy like over a $100,000 a boat that makes huge waves. Wake Boarding, that is what is called. Back before the current time, you wanted a boat that planned out to not create wakes, now you want the wakes, the bigger the better. Then you jump on the board and get up with a rope and let go, then follow behind the boat on the board. The boat goes slow to generate a big wake.
