Weekly Wrap Up (Jun. 28 - Jul. 4)

    By wildone

Well a belated Happy 250th Birthday to our American neighbours  Someone told me @Myr came over, not on the Mayflower, but another boat and tossed tea into Boston Harbour . Seems kind of far fetched though  . So question 1 for all out Weekly Wrap Up readers, if you live in the U S of A, did you do anything special on Saturday or Saturday night. Or are you still celebrating on Sunday AM when this is posted? 250 years is quite a long time, in North American terms. Also a happy belat

Weekly Wrap Up (Nov. 9 - Nov. 15)

😮  Ever wake up in the morning and see something and know you have to do something about it? No, I'm not referring to that, guys .  I did that this morning. I opened the fridge and I have to admit it was pretty bare. The thing is when you see your bare fridge, you probably going to notice it needs a really good cleaning! So there I am at 8 this morning with everything fitting onto one shelf, and pulling out the other 3 shelves, the two crispers and meat tray, and all the door pockets.

Calling all prompters!  It's time for the second annual Prompt Team Event!  Anyone who knows me and @Aditus will agree that we like to keep people guessing, so we're changing things up a bit this year.  Prompts are designed to help us grow as writers.  To push boundaries and explore ways of writing or genres we may not otherwise consider.  So this year, we are doing a genre/subgenre challenge!    To participate: PM either myself or Aditus.  We will assign you a random g

Weekly Wrap Up (Nov. 2 - Nov. 8)

Is it cold in your neck of the woods 🥶 I heard it was getting below zero (32F) in southern parts of the US of A 😮 In November! I imagine I'm going to hear from our Florida contingent that it is getting down to 70F in the evenings   So an interesting week has come to a close. Scratch that, it wasn't an interesting week. It was kind of the 2nd week of November blah week. Now if it was your birthday, then I missed the bright, shiney happiness of the week! You should have included me to li

November CSR Feature: Ash's Marriage Trigger

Oh, November... that month we all love. It feels like it goes on forever, and can we just get to the good holidays??? For those of us in the U.S. it also includes the Thanksgiving and gathering of friends and/or family, and all that fun (or friction). In honor of the onus of family, as well as feature another great event GA hosts, I thought I'd feature a prompt response by one of GA's popular authors! Have you ever tried writing to the featured prompts? It can be fun, as Thirdly shows readers!!
