It's Resolution Time!

New Year's Resolutions - love them or hate them?  Some people thrive on resolutions and use them to make changes in their lives, at least for January   Others scoff at the idea and remain their fabulous selves without some arbitrary date telling them it's time to effect positive change.  Since New Year's is right around the corner, let's explore some resolutions!    PT Prompt #191: You've always been steadfastly against making any resolutions come January first and have trea

Author Guess Who #18 - Reveal!

Hope everyone had some happy holidays! Yours truly did. Seeing Momma Stone's eyes light up when she opened her new iPad was a great moment. The bro-in-law got me an indoor counter-top grill, so I'll be using that every day for the next week until I accidentally leave it in the farthest corner of the cabinet. Speaking of weeks, your two weeks are up. Time to see if y'all guessed the author. If you missed the questions or forgot what the responses were, you can click HERE to read 'em. Let's c

Weekly Wrap Up (Dec. 17 - Dec. 23)

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all though the GA house not a creature was stirring, not even a bear, penguin, wolf, eagle, zombie, tiger, cat, or Cindy Lou Who. The stockings were hung by Steve's dryer with care. In hopes that St. Myr soon would be there The GA community were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of naked men, or women, danced in their heads. And Valkyrie in her 'kerchief, and I in my cap, had just settled our brains for a long winter's nap

Importance Of Continuity

Importance Of Continuity Believe it or not...well, you probably do...hehehe, I used to be MUCH worse about story continuity in my own work! I mean, as hard as I tried, it was always a difficult task trying to keep everything all together the way I really wanted to. And that was while I was working with handwritten NOTES to help guide me and keep me on track. (Keep an eye out for my article on personal story notes soon!) But that’s one of the traps of trying to keep all of your story’s detail
