Jack Scribe Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 OMG, it's Halloween in Oz and nothing from Graeme. Wonder if he's taking his munchkins out for Trick or Treat? To all GA'ers, have a fun and semi-sane goblin holiday. Jack
Site Administrator Graeme Posted October 31, 2007 Site Administrator Posted October 31, 2007 Sorry, Jack, Halloween isn't really celebrated here.... I had intended to post a Happy Halloween to all the people who celebrate it, but I was away at a customer site first thing this morning and you've beaten me to it! So, instead, I'll do a shameless plug for my latest short story: Horror Movie -- A Halloween Story Happy Halloween, everyone!
Krista Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 Happy Halloween!! I personally dislike halloween... lol.. I have to organize the brats and then deal with their week or two long sugar highs..
Former Member Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 HAPPY HALLOWEEN to everyone who's celebrating. Here in Germany Halloween is not really popular yet. A few people have Halloween Party's, some carve pumpkins, but nearly no one goes Trick and Treating. But just in case some kids will come on our door we bought some candy. Now we hope none shows up so we can eat it ourselves Tob
Thirdeye Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 let me be the first to say..trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat
Julian Alexander Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 Happy Halloween, Merry Samhain, and for tomorrow and the following day: Happy All Hallow's Day and Day of the Dead. May all of you enjoy which ever holiday you honor and practice. -Jules
Site Administrator Graeme Posted October 31, 2007 Site Administrator Posted October 31, 2007 My boys were told about Halloween at school yesterday. When I picked them up, they wanted to go trick-and-treating. I asked them why. "Because we get free chocolates and lollies and toys!" I didn't let them go -- they didn't have costumes and it really isn't celebrated around here. For a few minutes, I thought I was going to have a rebellion on my hands....

I would have thought for sure that you Aussies would celebrate this tradition. Of course that was a late notice they received. HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO ALL!! Edited October 31, 2007 by Benji
Adrian Michaels Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 I'm too old to go Trick or Treating anymore... *sigh* But I'll get to hand out candy!!!
rknapp Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 My mom gave me bags of candy before I went back to school on Sunday lol. She had three shopping bags full of candy, yet she knows that not many kids come by these days!
Adrian Michaels Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 I love last year when little kids went through the dorm. That was sooo much fun!
