Guest NuRvDamage Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 I can't believe you guys are going on and on about this Luke and Aaron thing.....Even tho I personally think Luke seems cuter (at least in my mind). Anyway chapter 7 was GREAT! BTW I would totally be like Rory... I have no "gaydar" what-so-ever.... It really kind of sux.
solacelenity Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 Ok, So I too thought for certain that Rory would end up in the attic, only to find Jase's wedding gown or ceremony picutres... or just something to let him know. But, I was not expecting Aaron to spill the beans. Personally, I am hoping that Rory leaves Aaron where he is standing and goes in search of Luke... That is, if he can add things up quickly enough. Of course, he might be under the assumption that his father and "Uncle Jase" are in an incest-driven relationship, too... HEHEHE... and still think Luke is his gay cousin! OK, but what I actually see happening next is Rory totally ignoring the ultimate reality that Luke is available and waiting for him to come around. Instead, he will start focusing on a festering anger towards poor Eddie. I see him attacking his poor father for not coming clean with him... even though Rory hasn't done that himself. And, poor Luke will be pushed into the background. Sometimes, you want to just slap that kid.... ROFL! Love and Peace, Solace
Ashken Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 I can't believe you guys are going on and on about this Luke and Aaron thing.....Even tho I personally think Luke seems cuter (at least in my mind). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I would make mention of the images of whips and dead dead horses when it comes to the Luke and aaron issue, but that might get Dan too excited to post his next chapters. I guess I like to just lurk around the borders of the chat and see what Dom comes up with. Marc
Trebs Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 Heh, most of it is just in fun, though I am waiting for Vic to admit I'm right ;-)
dkstories Posted April 26, 2005 Author Posted April 26, 2005 Aaron is only interested in Rory because he sees him as a way at Luke.
primewordsmith Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 Aaron is only interested in Rory because he sees him as a way at Luke. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's official is it? Like from fellow vamper to fellow vamper. Like when you two are vamping it up together? Hmmmm? How's Ch23 going? Hint, hint.. <grins>
Novelty Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 Aaron is only interested in Rory because he sees him as a way at Luke. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, I think that Aaron is only interested in Rory because Dom wants to make us go crazy waiting to see what's in the package from Grandma Alice That's why Aaron was thrown into the plot
Conner Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 Aaron is only interested in Rory because he sees him as a way at Luke. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That is a distinct possibility. Aaron says he has changed but he has yet to demonstrate that through action. As I mentioned in another post, Aaron could clear Luke's name at any time but he hasn't. If he did, Aaron would more than likely have do some time. Mind you, it would be in a youth detention centre....and he would meet a lot of guys in there. Call it a sabbatical. Here's another scenario on the car theft. Let's say another of Aaron's buddies stole the car and showed up at his place. Aaron asks him (or her?)to borrow the car as a treat for Luke on his birthday. Maybe even Aaron doesn't know it's a stolen car - but he likely did. The police pull them over with Luke driving. Aaron has to decide on the spot whether he implicates Luke, his other buddy or takes the wrap himself. How's that for a dilema? When I screw up, it has always been my practice to lie first. If you tell the truth first, then you have nothing to fall back on. Hugs, Conner
robbm_23 Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 (The Slut) Will Lie at anything plus if he gets in from Rory's pants in the mean time that's OK as far as he is concered! Robb
Trebs Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 Aaron is only interested in Rory because he sees him as a way at Luke. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, I think that Aaron is only interested in Rory because <snip> <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ok - so Nov is right... Best explanation yet!
lennyO Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 All I want is for a new chapter NOW and maybe one a day ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> maybe even two a day....or three, one for each story....
mikejay223 Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 As I posted on the Yahoo Gp. Aaron is a RAT BASTARD!! His reason for outing the whole family is weak at best. His interaction with Rory is totally self serving. Of course this is just my opinion, I could be wrong Mike
lennyO Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 As a newbie and a confirmed domaholic...what is the usual frequency of his writings????
NaperVic Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 As a newbie and a confirmed domaholic...what is the usual frequency of his writings???? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> LennyO, Welcome. Since you have publicly admitted your addiction, I'll try to answer your question. Dom tends to post about 1 chapter a week. Which series? It depends where his creative juices take him. I believe we are to expect chapter 8 of DD next. Dom also commented about trying to finish up the final 2 chapters of TLW. Also, if you haven't started it yet, Dom is also collaborating with his highness dkstories on Service. I believe we should be expecting a Dom chapter of Service next Tuesday. Hope this helps! TheZot Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 As I posted on the Yahoo Gp. Aaron is a RAT BASTARD!! His reason for outing the whole family is weak at best. His interaction with Rory is totally self serving. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I dunno about that one. Yeah, he's a twit, and may well not be worth much (though that's hard to say -- he's young and while Luke doesn't like him, that doesn't mean he's worthless) but you've got to figure he'd expect Rory to know. I mean, Rory's gay and living with his gay father, his father's partner, and his partner's gay nephew who's Aaron's ex. If nobody said anything, which since Luke hates him is really unlikely, how would he know that they're all dancing around each other? For this one I'd cut him a lot of slack, really. Maybe not for anything else, but for this... yeah.

While I fault Aaron (the little slut) for some things - stealing a car, letting your friend take the blame (twice), I don't think he was malicious in outing Luke, Eddie, and Jase to Rory. Vic the Domaholic
lobaiga Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 I agree. With all of Aarons possible sins, I dont think outing the others is one of them. I even think Dom was pretty clear about that: "You mean, you have no idea what I
Conner Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 And what is wrong with being a slut anyway? LOL Just my humble opinion. Lore <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Good point, Lore. In fact, it points to a long held male double standard, predominantly for straights but gays are not immune. A slut being a woman who has multiple partners, while a male who behaves similarly is a stud. When a man "sows his oats" it usually includes a healthy dose of sex. It's his birthright. If you pay attention to a lot of the friendly banter in this forum, you'll find a more than a few sluts, myself included. Conner

TheZot Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 I really think Aaron should have known when to shut his mouth, he may be a lot of things but he's not stupid: "But, you were probably a little easier because of where you live, anyways. I mean, as soon as you told me you were staying with Luke..." "What do you mean?" I frowned, confused" Right there he had to have known the Rory didn't have a clue <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Smart isn't perceptive. Lots of people are smart but utterly clueless or oblivious, and a lot of very perceptive people are as dumb as a rock. Yeah, maybe it should have been a clue, but that doesn't mean it was a clue. If he wasn't expecting it (and really why should he have been?) then it wouldn't have registered, at least not in time. Been there and done that, more than once. (though not for something like this)
lobaiga Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 (edited) I am sure I am wrong, but anyway........... I completely disagree. Think how quickly a conversation happens, how often do you pick up the nuances of what the other person said after you have already started to speak? Lore Edited April 27, 2005 by lobaiga
dkstories Posted April 27, 2005 Author Posted April 27, 2005 I know someone VERY much like the purported Aaron who wouldn't be picking up on the signals and would just blow right into the revealing information.. Manuel, Manuel, Manuel, what will we do with you?
Trebs Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 Part of it too - I don't imagine that any of the three (except to Rory) are in the closet at all. The reaction of the secretary (which can mean that she doesn't believe her gay boss could have a son), Jase's glare at Eddie when he was introduced as a brother... And if so, and Aaron is used to living around the three of them, why would Aaron not just think that Rory knew. Now, just because the Luke, Jase and Eddie were gay, didn't mean that Rory was. But Rory's lost his mom, and is now living with cousin Luke - makes sense that Aaron figured Eddie and Jase took in another gay relative. And all he was trying to do was it explain why he thought that to Rory... PS - I need to do a word search, but I am pretty sure that to this point, only one person has been described as a slut by Dom... Pretty boy Luke...
lobaiga Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 I agree, doesn't seem anyone is really in the closet (except to Rory). Why do people just want to think the worst of Aaron? I am sure I will be wrong, but until Dom tells me otherwise, I am going to believe Aaron has changed. Lore
TheZot Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 Why do people just want to think the worst of Aaron? I am sure I will be wrong, but until Dom tells me otherwise, I am going to believe Aaron has changed. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've got to agree with this one. Aaron's been an idiot in the past, and he and his ex don't get along (for reasonable reasons) but that doesn't mean he's an idiot now, nor that he's not worth knowing. Besides, if he were that bad in general, I really doubt that all of Luke's friends would have no problem with him hanging around. Remember, he was at the park with everyone, and it was pretty clear he wasn't being shunned by the group as a whole.
