Site Administrator wildone Posted December 24, 2008 Site Administrator Posted December 24, 2008 Santa delivered!!!! We have the cliffhanger(s) that we should expect from CJ!! Let's list them off: Eric has revealed to Jansen that he knows that Keith is gay, and they are brothers. The General and his son are both destined to die. Eric, Jansen, and Keith are about to be hit with a volcanic eruption on La Palma. Brandon, Chase, and Jon are about to be hit with the Big One in LA. The people of Riverside County, CA are more or less already wiped out. Please add on others that I may have missed out on. BTW, I should have known that CJ was up to something when I received his personal Christmas card in the mail yesterday Merry Christmas everyone!!
Benji Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 (edited) I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas Eve I hope the chapter isn't too nicey-nicey, but it's Christmas and I'm soft-hearted, what can I say. .......Softhearted?? Volcano erupting, earthquakes a shaking and a pending big one too! Eric unmasking, Scar unfolding, Brian surviving, by no fault of the goat on his own. In a Christmassy sense the goat relents, leaving us an ending a bit tense. Merry Christmas back at ya CJ (BTW where ever did you find the Star of David with 'merry christmas' written it it?) MikeL Posted December 24, 2008 Author Posted December 24, 2008 Great chapter, Cliff. I am well aware that it is Christmas...we all appreciate the new chapter. However, there is no way I could proclaim no cliffhangers given the conclusion of the chapter. And you didn't even attempt to make us forget the volcano, putting their attention on each other and not the television, on which a reporter had just begun mentioning a reawakened volcano on La Palma. in the middle of a hot sex scene. Who makes love with the TV on anyway? Have a Merry Christmas, goat. Stay away from cliffs.
Linxe Termoil Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 Ooh, I missed the reawakened volcano. this chapter is pure evil. It's definitely a cliffhanger. Mayhaps we'll get the next one New Year's Eve...... Now that we know Keithers is gay, and Jansen and him are brothers, the question remains, is Jansen gay? Hrm.....I do hope Brian and the General survive. Thanks for the chapter, can't wait for the next one Jon
jkeeling Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 I guess we should have seen this one coming. The goat added volcanoes to the cliffs he so loves and now he is adding earthquakes. Next thing we know he will be adding hurricanes, tornado's, and tsunami's.

Benji Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 Don't forget missiles, crashing bizjets, and THE SCAR!!!! ............Goats nuts roasting over an open fire.............
Site Moderator TalonRider Posted December 25, 2008 Site Moderator Posted December 25, 2008 It would seem that CJ has put everyone in danger in this chapter. The only one's he didn't leave in danger are Helen and Barbra. And he's left them in the Pocono's for now. If Jack's home, maybe he can go take care of them. I would except I'm currently not in the area. And I was right, Jansen and Keith are brothers.
Conner Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 There are no cliffhangers in this chapter. Action and adventure, most definitively! This is an a & a story, you know. You can't have an a & a story with everyone sitting around the fireplace roasting their nuts. It gets dull reak quick. Fantastic, CJ!!! Conner
rknapp Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 [*]Eric has revealed to Jansen that he knows that Keith is gay, and they are brothers. Now that we know Keithers is gay, and Jansen and him are brothers, the question remains, is Jansen gay? Hrm.....I do hope Brian and the General survive. Wait, what the hell? Didn't CJ introduce Keith and Jansen as a couple? I could swear he did... I've always considered them a couple, and therefore gay. When Eric mentioned Jansens brother I thought maybe he snuck his brother onto the plane, who is now on a date with his boyfriend... great, now I'm confused. If Jack's home, maybe he can go take care of them. I would except I'm currently not in the area. And I was right, Jansen and Keith are brothers. I might be in the Poconos in a few weeks. I'll take the bitch out. *pumps shotgun*

Former Member Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 I was on edge during the first few scenes just waiting for the cliffs to jump up. Who would have thought it was going to be quake coupled with the volcano? And neither have had their last say it seems. I figured Keither and Jansen were related. Their names just seemed to be similar to me. I'm glad its Keither who is gay. We haven't spent any alone time with him, and I'd like to learn more. Thanks for the chapter CJ!
Phantom Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 I gots a question for everyone... If I remember right... one of the guys (Keither or Jansen) had a poster of either instinct or Eric in their room... who was it? Duckie
C James Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 Just a quick note here (Sorry, I've got to run) Wait, what the hell? Didn't CJ introduce Keith and Jansen as a couple? I could swear he did... I've always considered them a couple, and therefore gay. When Eric mentioned Jansens brother I thought maybe he snuck his brother onto the plane, who is now on a date with his boyfriend... great, now I'm confused. The introduction of Jansen and Keith was as a couple, but it was entirely in the dialog and in George Tankardsly's impression. Sorry for the confusion, but it's a literary trick that I use: The narrator can't lie, but he can omit, which can be quite misleading when combined with dialog (and characters, unlike the narrator, can indeed lie. ) (this is similar to how I masked The Scar's identity for over 20 chapters in LTMP.) Chapter 20 is called "explanations", and we learn a great deal more about them... and much else.
jfalkon Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 I can't falt your writing. It's wonderfuly exciting but don't you think threatening to destroy my city with an earthquake is a bit much? What did I ever do to you? Thanks for another great chapter. Have a merry Christmas CJ.
C James Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 Santa delivered!!!! We have the cliffhanger(s) that we should expect from CJ!! The people of Riverside County, CA are more or less already wiped out. Please add on others that I may have missed out on. BTW, I should have known that CJ was up to something when I received his personal Christmas card in the mail yesterday Merry Christmas everyone!! ROFL!! Well, yes, Eric has revealed to Jansen (after making him squirm a little) that he thinks that they are brothers. But that's not a cliffhanger. We don't know that Cumbre Vieja is doing more than a little rumbling. The General and his son... Well, there are a few risks there, I admit, but what is life without a few little risks? So, no cliffhanger there. The "Big One" in LA... That's not a cliffhanger, because we don't know for sure when or if it will occur. As for the area east of Riverside along the San Jacinto fault; no problem, it's over. They've already had their night of hell incarnate, it's over, so no cliffhanger. Well, now we know that The Scar is up to something, and after something. The question is, what? .......Softhearted?? Volcano erupting, earthquakes a shaking and a pending big one too! Eric unmasking, Scar unfolding, Brian surviving, by no fault of the goat on his own. In a Christmassy sense the goat relents, leaving us an ending a bit tense. Merry Christmas back at ya CJ (BTW where ever did you find the Star of David with 'merry christmas' written it it?) Well, I'll admit to an ending that could be described as perhaps ever-so-slightly... tense. I found the graphic (along with the reindeer) online, and just liked it. I wanted to make the chapter announcement (in the announcements forum) very christmassy. Great chapter, Cliff. I am well aware that it is Christmas...we all appreciate the new chapter. However, there is no way I could proclaim no cliffhangers given the conclusion of the chapter. And you didn't even attempt to make us forget the volcano, putting in the middle of a hot sex scene. Who makes love with the TV on anyway? Have a Merry Christmas, goat. Stay away from cliffs. I always stay away from cliffs. Don't worry so much about the volcano. Just think of it as an extra secondary character, one with a slightly hot temper. I am, however, shocked.. shocked I say, that you won't amphibiously certify the chapter as cliffhanger-free.
C James Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 Ooh, I missed the reawakened volcano. this chapter is pure evil. It's definitely a cliffhanger. Mayhaps we'll get the next one New Year's Eve...... Now that we know Keithers is gay, and Jansen and him are brothers, the question remains, is Jansen gay? Hrm.....I do hope Brian and the General survive. Thanks for the chapter, can't wait for the next one Jon All we know about the volcano, per the chapter, is that there was a news item about it re-awakening. It might, for all we know, be just a prediction. I guess we should have seen this one coming. The goat added volcanoes to the cliffs he so loves and now he is adding earthquakes. Next thing we know he will be adding hurricanes, tornado's, and tsunami's. Hurricanes? Not me! (Ummm, Don't look at my short story, Category 5, same with the tsunami) But, Tornadoes? I can honestly say, I haven't done one of those yet. Don't forget missiles, crashing bizjets, and THE SCAR!!!! A few minor perhaps-ever-so-slightly-tense situations? ............Goats nuts roasting over an open fire............. ACK! Benji!!! Now, now, no goat roasting!! It would seem that CJ has put everyone in danger in this chapter. The only one's he didn't leave in danger are Helen and Barbra. And he's left them in the Pocono's for now. If Jack's home, maybe he can go take care of them. I would except I'm currently not in the area. And I was right, Jansen and Keith are brothers. Good call on the brothers issue. Though, I can't actually say if it's correct or not... all we know is that Eric said it. He could, after all, be wrong. There are no cliffhangers in this chapter. Action and adventure, most definitively! This is an a & a story, you know. You can't have an a & a story with everyone sitting around the fireplace roasting their nuts. It gets dull reak quick. Fantastic, CJ!!! Conner Thank you Conner!!!! I was on edge during the first few scenes just waiting for the cliffs to jump up. Their names just seemed to be similar to me. I'm glad its Keither who is gay. We haven't spent any alone time with him, and I'd like to learn more. Thanks for the chapter CJ! All I can say is, we'll learn a great deal more starting in 20. I gots a question for everyone... If I remember right... one of the guys (Keither or Jansen) had a poster of either instinct or Eric in their room... who was it? Duckie Jansen mentioned that the poster was in Keith's room. I can't falt your writing. It's wonderfuly exciting but don't you think threatening to destroy my city with an earthquake is a bit much? What did I ever do to you? Thanks for another great chapter. Have a merry Christmas CJ. But, but, I had to send you something for Christmas....

They've already had their night of hell incarnate, it's over, so no cliffhanger. Merry Christmas to you too CJ Does anyone else find it disturbing that the goat is somehow always managing to do me GREAT harm in his serials?
C James Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 Merry Christmas to you too CJ Does anyone else find it disturbing that the goat is somehow always managing to do me GREAT harm in his serials? Now, Now, Your Cliffhangeryness, might I remind the readers of a certain chapter in Dreams and Cliffed Wings called "Eating Crow"? Where we learn that a certain sunglasses-wearing goat is shot in Arizona and becomes a stuffed and mounted wall ornament in a baglery? Besides, I had to send you something for Christmas, right? Merry Christmas!! :nuke:
shadowgod Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 why do you CJ, of all goats, have to pick on the poor misunderstood goat from DnCW?
