What a great reunion in chapter 16! Cray and Jack seem to have completely mended their broken relationship. Thanks for a great story, Jack.

It's a good first step as to Cray and Jack, but there's a lot of stuff each of them is keeping surpressed, and it'll be interesting to see if either Jack or Cray learn the full extent to which Cray's mom and step-father were sent a clear message a few years back.

Lou worries me, and I wonder if Spence knows how much he may be put at risk being in Lou's company, whether in Manhattan or Las Vegas. Lou's itinerary worries me. I wish Mario had been told by somehow how risky it is for anyone to be around Lou, Junior. Maybe Greg will get around to that the next time he gets out of L.A.; my spidey-sense is tingling.

Chapter 16 was definitely interesting. I'm glad that everything is good between Cray and Jack. I worried about that a little. I thought it'd take more time for Cray to accept him back in his life. I'm so glad I was wrong. :D

After the initial emotional eruption, Cray weighed the circumstances of the separation and leaned to his foster pops advice for support. I think the key was how he remembered the formative years with Jack.

Never fear, Enric, you'll see more of Lou. Will danger be lurking when Spence visits Lou in Manhattan? The Russians seem to be neutralized.

I teared up.

And with mom in the same room. Weird.

But tis a beautiful chapter, Jack. 'As far as I'm concerned, we've got the rest of our lives.' Love that last note.

Am also very concerned about Spence. I like him, and besides the danger of being with Lou, I'd like him to settle with someone. Well..

Anyway, nice. Made my day!

And your comments/thoughts made my day. Thanks, Kevin. :2thumbs:

Chapter 17 provides a lot opportunity for Cray to get to know Jack better and for each of them to meet the "significant others". Broken relationships are beginning to heal. It's obvious what the next step should be...pool party!

Thanks for another great installment, Jack.

Another good chap, Jack!

Somehow I sensed something's going to happen between Henry and Kevin, though Kev's straight. LOL.

Maybe just wishful thinking. LOL

OH, how I love the elder Gamble!

And I'm glad tidbits of Drew and Bob is back!

Young Kev's heart pings for teen lassies, but I'm sure Henry will find playmates when he starts UNLV. I'm happy that Jack Gamble has been given a second chance by the readers. Yep, Enric...happy family reunions.

I certainly enjoyed 17. Jack and Cray are going to get along just fine.I suspect that something will happen soon where they will need each other even more. I sense crisis over the horizon, and everyone in this new family will need to stick together through the storm.

The Big Apple never seemed so nice to me. I guess it matters what business you're in or how much cash you have.

Great chapter, Jack! Looking forward to the pool party.

Nice chapter, Jack. And am also very revved up for the coming pool party.

Hmm, still liking Spence a lot.

MoMA is very appealing.

Just have to go to NYC sometime. The Met and Guggenheim. Posted Image

Indeed, Chapter 18 was good. It seems that Spence and Lou get along well. I have to wonder if Lou will ever reach a point where he can be in a relationship where his eyes don't wander though. It's pretty obvious that Spence really likes him. I'd hate for Spence to get his heart broken.

I don't think Lou's vision problem will ever be corrected. Spence seems to be pretty level-headed and he knows what Lou did to Spike.

Perhaps they could have an open relationship. That would solve that problem.

Do open relationships ever solve problems?

Well, if someone can't be monogamous, it can certainly help.

I think Lou knows he isn't ready for anything close to a real relationship...for the time being. Who knows waaaaaaay down the road.

Open relationships are not that uncommon...but they must be worked out - with all details covered - by both partners. I hosted a cocktail party a couple of nights ago and one friend recognized another guest from Adam 4 Adam (I think is the site). The guy he recognized is the other half of a 20 y.o. relationship. The bottom line: there are several ways to float your boats.

I touched on the difficulties of two males mating in a very early chapter. We are genetically programmed to be the 'hunter' and that is a big challenge for two men being monogamous. I don't defend it; just the way it is IMHO.

Just read chapter 19, great chapter but how can you leave a cliff hanger like that, I really hope you post the next chapter early

Posted

Yes, that chapter was moving along quite smoothly, very pleasant indeed. All those hunky males by the pool.

Then, in a single sentence, the bottom fell out. Definitely a cliffhanger!

So is it Lou Senior or Junior? And how did he die? Well, I'm guessing it's Lou Sr. and, hopefully he wasn't murdered....but then I have to remember whose story this is. :P

So, I'm gonna have to just wait and see. In the meantime, I'm gonna think about Spence and Henry maybe getting together???

Great chapter, Jack!!! :worship::worship:

Great chapter, Jack. It's too bad a great party has to come to a sad end.

Indeed it is sad news, but which Lou Gallian is dead? Either way this is very bad news, and it means murder. :(
