Figured I'd give y'all some more trivia to bide the time until this week's chapter. Did you know...? That Anthony would NOT do Angelina Jolie, if the opportunity should arise. He's afraid that she would kill him as a form of foreplay (you KNOW this is what she'd do). The only reason that Brad Pitt survives is because he's really muscular and can fight her to a draw (according to Anthony). Also, he thinks that Nick Lachey is a "good-looking dude," you know...for a dude.

Ch. 28: Shawn and Anthony are GHOST BUSTERS (not to be confused with that other business of a similar name)! In the streets of New New York, a threat is looming. Out of the 5 corners of Darkness emerges the vengeful ghost of Keithicus, the Ancient Warrior King from Centuries Ago (the place is actually named "Centuries Ago")! Using their ECTO-PACKS, our brave ghost hunters face down Keithicus and his long-dead Generals of Unwavering Loyalty on the streets of Old Manhattan, which they had just been teleported to as to excuse the writer from BAD WRITING. Will they survive (Shawn and Anthony; the ghost are already dead)? Or will they join the ranks of those defeated by Keithicus' EXTREMELY LONG, NOT COMPENSATING FOR ANYTHING BLADE? Find out!

Hold up! If your gonna do a book it has to look realistic! No offense, AD, but Shawn and Anthony hated each other, and barely tolerate each other as it is. If you want to show them being lovey-dovey (shudders) then do this: have the boys be pictured in a bathroom with Anthony holding up Shawn by his collar. Anthony has one of his angry, hateful looks on his face, while his free hand is cocked back to strike. Shawn can be looking at Anthony with fear/hate/regret/despair, whichever floats your boat. Maybe

you could even give Shawn a cut lip, or show some sign of wear and tear. The cover would have them

be posed like this in front o. A bathroom mirror so you could make a lovey-dovey picture of them

doing stuff in the background.

Holy f***, that's the exact OPPOSITE of what I always envisioned the front cover to look like! This story is and always was written for the gay male audience, so bishonen/kawaii/yaoi stuff needs to go right out the window and into the wood chipper. I always imagined the front cover to be depicting the EXACT moment Shawn and Anthony's fist collide with each other's face. Caedus's idea works well, too.

 

Hmm...new topic! Who else has an idea as to what the front cover of a BSC book would look like?

Shawn: Once saw mommy kissing Santa Claus, underneath the mistletoe that one night. Only years later did he figure out that the Santa was really his dad.

 

Anthony: Once, while drunk, he impaled a soccer ball with a stick and roasted it over a fire at the beach at night. There was a party going on at the time.

 

Keith: Once, when he was 14, he tried to steal some porn DVDs, but got caught. He escaped, but without the DVDs.

Ch. 29: Anthony's on the phone with his girlfriend. She's upset. She's going off about something that he said, 'cuz she doesn't get his humor like Shawn does. Shawn's in his room (it's a typical Tuesday night). He's listening to the kind of music she doesn't like, and she'll never know his story like he does.

 

WILL SHAWN MAKE THE IMPOSSIBLE HAPPEN?! Find out! (Yes, I'm running out of ideas again).

Ch. 30: Shawn and Anthony are NOT IN THIS CHAPTER! Poor PETER is newly outed in a school designed to be HIS WORST NIGHTMARE, and sitting atop this nightmare is the EVIL BLACK QUEEN known only as Liz. Using her legion of LOYAL REPUBLICAN JOCKS, she sweeps fear and religion across the solar school system, crushing any liberation movements that dare arise against her. Poor Peter is somehow caught up in the crossfires when a new REBELLION GROUP stands up against the Evil Black Queen's tyranny, forcefully drafting Poor Peter into their small but ambitious group. Will he survive the UPCOMING WAR? And what secrets does the EVIL BLACK CHANCELLOR WES hold? Find out!

Ok first off let me appologize for not having been around much the last three weeks. I had the day off today so I got caught up on BSC, I love the last three chapters, they were great, I left a review for each of them btw.

 

As to this most recent chapter, I KNEW Keith knew what was going on, I had a feeling. it's pretty cool I have to admit, i might even start liking him as a character now. The chapter with the graveyard and Kimberly was good too, I liked how suspicious she was about Anthony coming with them. I would love to know what Anthony did when he placed the flower on the grave and why he ALMOST stood up for the pledge. I hope we find out sometime.

I'm not that surprised by it, you've hinted at it for awhile so it was always a matter of time. This means we learn more about Keith, which should be interesting. hahaha that's such an awkward conversation.

 

Anthony is so screwed. We've already established that HS sucks and that people are quick to turn on you and accept popular perception as "truth". It's already sunken in that Anthony is doing things with Peter if no one asks anymore. Soon his friends will abandon him and YS will set Goth Queen Liz on Anthony. How Anthony handles this also predictable, but maybe I'm wrong. In any case, unless he can get dispel these rumors ( which is slim pickings at this point) he'll likely experience a hellscape in his last months in HS that only Shawn can relate to, though not much since he didn't lose as much as Anthony is in serious risk of losing.

 

I'm starting to suspect that a certain someone is a closet sadist.

To NightOwl: "i might even start liking him as a character now." Aww...you didn't like him before? That makes Keith feel...well, Keith doesn't give a s***. And I like to place mysteries here and there for you guys to solve. Solve them! *cracks whip*

 

To Caedus: More Keith is sure to happen. You can never get enough Keith. As for your middle paragraph...we'll see what happens. Remember, I know what you're thinking at all times, so I know what you expect and will swerve off a road to surprise you.

I judged a bit too soon, Keith always struck me as sort of...i dunno...transparant...not really underdeveloped or anything but...I don't know. i don't have the words right now.

I think Keith's gay, just not out and proud gay. More like a "Will gay" than a "Jack gay." It would be interesting if the reason Pete came out was because he'd been with Keith and just wanted Keith to finally be proud of their relationship (kinda like Shawn is with Anthony). Though if there was a "Jack gay" character introduced, then he may be a good resource for any and all of the "Will gay" characters. In any case, I'm thoroughly enjoying the entire thing.

VERY interesting theory there. I'm impressed. Time will tell how accurate it is. I think it's already implied that Peter is "Jack gay." I'd say Shawn is "Will gay," but Will is already pretty gay himself (especially in later seasons).

Ch. 31: Shawn runs a SMALL TOWN MOM AND POP RESTAURANT, with Anthony running a NEIGHBORING SMALL TOWN MOM AND POP RESTAURANT. Both are bitter rivals, as both businesses happen to be doing very well, but both men are vying for the "Best in Town" award. Shawn, the owner of STOOPID CHICKS, believes that his eatery is better than Anthony's, the owner of BEAT 'EM UP BAR AND GRILL. Both serve similar clientele. When HEALTH INSPECTOR KEITH shows up, a DARK SECRET is exposed. Which restaurant will be left standing? Find out!

Wow, I guess the other shoe dropped for Anthony this chapter. I'm kinda surprised it hasn't been worse for him considering the previous rumors about him. I'm surprised he never had a girlfriend before, even the superficial ones you have in Middle School! That is one of the first things you learn in Closet Case 101: always maintain a f**hag. It's either that or he has to have a reputation as a "player". What are teachers teaching our kids these days!?!

 

Thats right! Anthony is on the Football team! Too bad they aren't in season, that would of made things soo much worse/fun for him.

The way I worded it, I was implying that Anthony never really had a long-term girlfriend. He's undoubtedly kissed girls before, but he's too much of a party man to settle down with just one. Think Charlie Sheen's character from "Two and a Half Men," except without the sex. I'm sure that he's had week-long girlfriends before, as is common for jocks to have. Usually he gets them when he's drunk, though. I don't think they (the girlfriends) mind. It's a quick trip to the top of the popularity chain for them. Anthony just doesn't like it when girls come on to him. Anthony's not on the football team this year, remember? That's why he has a job.

*Reads initial chapters* That's right! But this brings up an interesting question: If your outted, are you better off being popular (rich, jock, prep) or being a nobody( i.e) Shawn)? Personally I think your better off being a nobody or as low on the totem pole as possible. It's not as painful when you hit the bottom, and you are used to the suffering you may receive from fellow classmates. On the other hand, being popular gives you some cover if your reputation is high enough, or if your rich enough.
