Oh! I forgot http://leasticoulddo.com/ -- because I can.

Nice use of the comic's tag-line.

http://www.sluggy.com/ -- Sluggy freelance. The one, the only, accept no substitutions. Yippee skippy, the evil is here, I'd better get some milk before- GAHH!

http://www.kevinandkell.com/ -- daily updates, on time, are always nice. Plus it's got a good sense of humor. "The decline in our dial-up service is directly correlated to the obituaries"

http://www.cad-comic.com/cad/ -- Who doesn't love crazy bat-shit video games?

http://www.docrat.com.au/ -- Got into this one because of Kevin and Kell. Similar premise, but different humor.

http://www.jeffschuetze.com/ -- Crazy. One word: Crazy.

http://www.nicky510.com/ -- Nicky and Elf, what crazy fun they have.

http://www.dollarstorecaviar.com/comic.htm -- Gay-oriented comic, how lovely!

http://www.robandelliot.cycomics.com/ -- They don't update as often as I'd like, but when they do it's usually weird enough to be worth a laugh.

http://www.nuklearpower.com/ -- Has a couple of different comics (I jumped in for 8-bit theater) but doesn't update as regularly as it used to. They've 'gone legit' on us!

http://www.smbc-comics.com/ -- "As last thoughts go, 'unicorns are real' isn't half bad"

http://www.giantitp.com/Comics.html -- They're stick figures, fighting for justice! Ooorah!

http://www.erfworld.com/ -- Come'on fatty, do your job!

http://www.heroesoflesserearth.com/ -- D&D, where the dungeonmaster's woes are explained.

http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/ -- Gaming and crazy people; see above.

http://whengodsskipout.smackjeeves.com/ -- Fun web-'comic' about people saving the world. Which sits on a counter in the real world.

http://www.rodandbarry.com/ -- Little purple people enjoying planet earth's bounty. At least they aren't martians!

http://leasticoulddo.com/ -- Because I can.

http://lfgcomic.com/page/466 -- If you like LICD, try this one, same people.

I read Paradox (http://paradoxcomic.smackjeeves.com/)

And knights-errant (http://knights-errant.smackjeeves.com/)

And some other stuff. ;o

OH! Questionable Content is really great too (http://www.questionablecontent.net/)

Sorry if I duplicated -- I only scanned the previously posted really quickly. P:

To the original poster -- I really really love starfighter and teahouse.

Questionable Content is pretty rad, as is Girls with Slingshots. There's definitely a lesbian-feel I get from reading both comics, and as a proud gay man, think is awesome.

QC has strong leanings towards Indie Rock, but it got more serialized as it progressed. GWS is just funny. Almost inappropriately so.

Kreepy Kat's author decided that it was time for the series to die, but it had a good long run. Ever had a cat that you thought was going to kill you in your sleep? This webcomic basically summarizes that feeling.

Hmm, let's see,

Menage a 3

Eerie Cuties

Magic Chicks

These three are from the same artist/author, and I'm quite fond of all of them, Magick Chicks is a spinoff of Eerie Cuties, and is entertaining in that 'typical teenage drama' sort of way but with a 'magick' twist.

Full TIme Ink- Kyra!

Kyra's this cute little lizard that talks, and has a will of her own, she mailed herself to this part-time comic artist who has a crappy real-life job, and it's kind of turned upside down when she arrives. It's cute and hilarious and makes me happy.

Worst Yaoi Ever

Self-dubbed the worst yaoi ever, it initially starts with two pigs, then after a few, evolves into the Adventures of Blue Bird who has a peculiar relationship with Red Bird. It's kind of a comic you get into slowly, and I kind of enjoy reading it. :)

Looking For Group

Least I Could Do

Girls With Slingshots

The Gutters

All of these are from the same company, Blind Ferret, and I love them all, LFG and LICD and GWS have all been mentioned, but I guess I'm kind of a comic nerd, and I love The Gutters, little spoofs on various comic book heroes, from the Bat to the Fantastic Four, all incorporated with a bit of pop culture, I really enjoy them. :)

Paradox, of course

Teahouse X3

Starfighter <3

All excellent comics, Paradox is a little... I'm not sure what the word I'm looking for is... distracted sometimes? I dunno, I forgot the actual plot somewhere in the last chapter. >.>; Teahouse is, adorable, to say the least, definitely one of my favourites, and Starfighter, Abel... and Cain... beautiful creatures.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Manly Guys Doing Manly Things, great comic, and the colonel is very slashable, what with all the brutally bulky video game/movie characters floating around all the time.

Goodbye Chains though it looks like they've stopped, is that just me? And Friday 4koma because it's cute and only four panels long, updates every other friday, I think. Purpurea Noxa just came out, it's from one of the authors/artists I follow on the y!gal that I enjoy, so we'll see where it goes. And that's about it for me. =D

Yeah... I'm gonna resurrect a four year old thread :P

A while ago, I became obsessed with Check, Please!. Lately, I've been wanting to read other webcomics, so with a quick search on GA, I made my way here and went through some of the recs.

So... what was my favorite to read of the recs? The Teahouse. :D It's just amazing, and Xanthe sure helps a lot

I came across another fun webcomic on the weekend : http://www.lostinconfusioncomic.net

With gay and straight characters (and a homicidal penguin with a sniper rifle whose sexuality is never indicated), there is something for everyone. The only thing missing is some lesbian characters, but the existing female characters are great!

Just found this comic: The Maple Effect, it's really sweet and adorable!

I'm glad I'm not the only fan here. :D I think I've managed to hook a few other GA members via my Clueless Camping story topic. See also this post.

I'll have to give some of the other webcomics a try, Thanks for resurrecting this, Drew.

Your welcome Tim! :) It was soon after the first time we met that you turned my attention to Satw, and boy I have enjoyed each and every single one of the comics! Speaking of... one of the more recent ones, "Nordic Cuisine" had me :o:facepalm: and

...gotta love Denmark
