This thread is for when DD Ch 9 comes out. I can't wait to find out how the 4 gay boys handle all the deception. I'm assuming everything will come out, but then again, this is Dom.

Well - except Luke. Since Rory and Aaron will end up in bed together, and Jason and Eddie will make up and end up in bed...

With the way Dom ended chapter 8, ANYTHING could happen, that's why I almost swore off of Dom stories altogether, because that manipulative little weasle threw such a dramatic cliffhanger right in our faces and then the story seemingly dropped off the face of the Earth... but then, his stories are addictive, almost moreso than Dr. Pepper... and you should all be glad that you haven't been near me for the last 24 hours, since I cracked open my last can yesterday, and was squirming in my classes all day waiting for the day to end so I could race over to BJ's and buy more... I swear I could have caused three accidents today, and must have burned 10 miles of rubber off of the tires on my drive wheels coming outta the school parking lot... well you get the idea?

 

It's still open for discussion whether or not Dom is just a manipulative little weasle or possibly is simply evil for that cliffhanger...

Wow, I'm just glad I'm not at the very bottom of this totem poll now. A virgin with guts, how intresting. You really do need your Dr. Pepper. Do I dare mention that I always have a bottle of that stuff lying around this place of mine.

I know it's been a while (a log while) since we dissected DD, but I had the sense that Luke and Aaron were more then just friends. OK, they might not have been boyfriends, but I think they were at least F.B.'s. :wacko:

I assume Luke and Aaron were boyfriends at some point. Think about it: two teenage guys, out to each other, good friends, and that found each other attractive, not to mention living next door to one another for easy access; do y'all think there is a shot in hell they weren't "in love?"

 

As far as Aaron and Rory's future, I don't really see one. Aaron made his (well deserved) annoyance with Rory pretty clear, so I don't think they'll be talking for a bit. I could be wrong, and this is the point I am most likely to be wrong on. Besides, Aaron has no sympathy or patience for Rory's personal problems, and that will kill the relationship beore it starts, though I cna see Rory having sex with Aarn just to piss off the others in his house.

 

I guess that Luke, once he's out to Rory (officially) and the whole " 'I'm gay.' 'Me too!' " nonsense is settled, will probably be trying to give him as much space as possible so as to not make the twerp feel uncomfortable. Rory is in no condition to have a relationship right now. He's got some good reasons, but he's also too immature.

Luke and Rory is the better match, Aaron and Rory would be 2 annoying people together, and that would be nasty.

 

Most of Rory's annoyingness is his fault, he reacts like Quinn in TOU, but unlike Quinn he has been left out of the loop on lots of thing he should have been told, so while he may have bad reactions, I think much of it could have been solved if Eddie, Jase, Luke and his Gran had been open and honest in the first place.

 

Plus Luke sounds hotter, and that can't just be wasted

My sentiment exactly slaveboy, only I was going to say "I think Luke sounds hotter than Aaron. Maybe it's the hair. I like BLONDES." I think I actually prefer straight to curly, but the blonde hair is definitely the clincher. LOL it's almost a fetish really, I could see the most unattractive person (male or female), and if they had blonde (or red, but not to the extent of blonde) hair, I'm still likely to say "...but he/she did have nice hair at least.". LOL I'm really not as shallow as all that though, that's my preference, and what I'm most likely to notice, but I truly am more interested in what's on the inside.

 

Which actually brings me to the next point, that I think I actually slightly favor Aaron to Luke (LOL despite the hair), it's not that I don't think Luke's a good person too, it's just that there's something very compelling about Aaron, and also I'm probably taking his side because for the most part everyone seems to be against him, and I do like to think that people can learn from their mistakes and grow, and get better. I definitely don't think Aaron totally deserves the bad reputation he's got. OK he definitely earned it at first, but I think it might be time to look again, and re-evaluate him. Still Luke sounds totally hot, and really great all around as well, which is why I think I kinda favor him and Aaron together over Rory and either of them. LOL of the three of them Rory's the only one I'm not crazy about. (But perhaps he'll grow on me).

 

LOL reading DD and (the early part of) TOU really makes me realize how much of a stronger, nicer, less self-centered person Owen is than either Quinn or Rory. (and no I'm not just saying that because he was blonde! ). It's not that I don't think Quinn and Rory aren't good people too, they also seem nice and caring enough, it's just that they seem more like your typical teenagers (I'm not bashing teenagers though, people can and are self centered at every age), whereas Owen (and Jude, Aiden, Ryan, and Luke) seem almost too good to be true! (they aren't though, they're still really believable, just amazingly nice, supportive, wise, and sensible).

 

As for Luke and Aaron's past, yeah I think there must have been something there too. I was just allowing for the possibility that there might not have been. I dunno maybe they weren't boyfriends, but I do hope they weren't just "F.B.s" either. It'll be interesting to find out their past. I'm really excited about DD starting up again.

AFriendlyFace, you're not alone on the blonde thing, the last three girls that I've been more than social with were blonde, my now ex-girlfriend; a girl who had a crush on me, who also bleached her blonde hair and made me really want to take care of that virginity problem, if she was two years older than 16 when she did that AFTER I turned 18; and also a good ladyfriend back home that I still hang out with and go out with sometimes. You might have a point there slaveboy, I have naturally darker hair (though I've kept it blonde or red the last couple years), and often thought that perhaps the reason I liked lighter haired people was it was something different.....on the other hand I have light eyes and go for the same, so no telling really lol

 

As for who Rory will really end up with. Well I get the feeling it might be Aaron too, but I think I'd prefer it to be Luke (yeah even though I'm always defending Aaron). I still think Aaron's becoming a better person, it's just that Luke's already an angel lol. I don't know, I guess it doesn't really make sense for Rory not to end up with one of them either, but I still think it would be cool if Luke and Aaron got together.....Shoot if I didn't believe so strongly in monogomy I'd say they should all three just date (J/k I'd HATE that outcome). Dom's definitely succeeded in writing a good love triangle (well I don't know maybe Luke isn't even interested in either one, but I don't see that).

That's true. Maybe, because I see blond hair every time I look in the mirror, I think it's no big deal, so I like darker hair. I know the reason I like curly hair is because my hair is straight and boring.

 

However, I don't care what color the eyes are. I think blue eyes are beautiful, brown eyes are sexy, and green eyes are mysterious. Hazel eyes are both sexy and mysterious.
