littlebuddy Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 WoW addict here (but I can quit any time I want, really). Aside from that, not much else; I've dabbled in Guild Wars, and Starcraft 1 and 2, Warcraft 3. I am definitely looking forward to The Secret World but am worried that it'll suck. We'll have to see. lb.
Mark92 Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Assassins Creed 1,2 and 3 completed so many times its an obsession, also got all the posters t-shirts a hoodie, even a necklace and car freshner lol Big fan of Lara Croft, Bio Shock, But since I found GA this is where I play lol. Alan wake is good too.
Bumblebee Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 I've played all of the grand theft autos, need for speeds, the sims and spyro games. though i dont play them so much now, i prefer the PS2 over the PS3 for playing games
AnimalMorph Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 (edited) I play MMORPG! I used to play Ragnarok but that stopped when i reach puberty (my parents got divorced ). At high school, i was introduced a Warcraft games by my brothers and still playin it. Well, not really a WarCraft, more like DoTA only. I also play Perfect World. Doubt that any of you have even heard this. Meh, but it's good to share! I also a fan of RPG. I used to collect EVERY kind of RPG that ever released for PS1 and PS2, but then again my family problem get in the way. I lost every game i owned, but i'm recollecting it though in a ROM not in a CD. There's a PS1 and PS2 emulator for computer now . I do not own any PS3/XBox games. It is WAY too expensive for me. I wish i have though.. Edited October 13, 2011 by AnimalMorph

Martin I think the PS2 is still better to play, its a bit simpler to use and theres more variety of games that i like, most of the PS3 games are like COD and other shooting games

I'm not really much of a console gamer but they seem to be getting all... complicated and things now. lol And yeah, looked around a bit and the PS2 did have a far larger selection of games available to it, I think mainly because it was apparently fairly easy to make games for whereas modern consoles need specialist skills just to know how to port a game from one console to another and the like. Myself, I technically owned a PS2... but I didn;t really play it much. My dad used it to play football games on a lot though and I had a bit of fun messing around with them. Martin
PhoenixFlames Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 i used to play flyff but got bored. played wow and got bored. beat fable 1 2 and 3 about 4 times each. and i am currently obsessed with the dragon age series. i am on my 6th playthrough of 2 and just reordered 1 so i can play it a few times again. i CANNOT wait for the new zelda game or dragon age 3 of course. i also love gears of war, elder scrolls, and fallout. though i prefer rpg's with over the head views and not fps. i STRONGLY avoid fighters, racers, and side scroll.
Former Member Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 I'm a Kingdom Hearts fangirl and so far I've played Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. I'm really curious about Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance and I'm hoping for Kingdom Hearts III. Apart from that, I also really like Final Fantasy games. So far I've played Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy X-2 and Final Fantasy XII. My brother has Final Fantasy XIII, and I'd really like to play Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII, although that might be because of the Kingdom Hearts games xD I think the Fable games are also cool, but they're not my favorites. I like Minecraft too, and I get easily addicted to the Civilization games. Oh, and I LOVE Assassins Creed! It's just that my brother has the games and I have to ask his permission to play them; that, and I'm not very good at them xD So I just watch most of the time as my brother is playing, hahaha
Syniq Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Ah, damn. I can't wait for Assassin's Creed Revelations to come out on Steam. I keep having to flap at friends who accidentally nearly spoil it. I seem to mostly be playing Minecraft and Dead Island at the moment. Well, and World of Goo, because it's still awesome. And if you haven't played it, VVVVVV is a fantastic old-school arcade game with an amazing soundtrack that will have you addicted within a few minutes, and ragequitting after half an hour.
Mal Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 I used to be the biggest RPG nut. Kingdom hearts is my favorite though, with Sora Rikku lovin at the top of my fantasy list. Final fantasy was big too. Ten was the first one I played, and imo the best. Now I'm all about FPS. Battlefield 3 is coming out, and I am in love. Not really a cod fan though. As for RPGs now, anything by Bioware, and The Old Republic. Assassins creed is awesome, but I want the game to finally focus on the present. Desmond is such a badass. Trying to go to college though and get a career, so gaming will probably suffer quite a bit. Battlefield 3 will probably be my main love. My current obsession is Demon's Souls. Check it out for PS3, that is if you are a masochist and don't care if you have to buy a new controller every week.
Robbiee Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Call of Duty's, Mario Games, Portal Games. Not much variety past that.
John Doe Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 City of Heroes/Villians is the only video game I play.... it's part of the reason why I don't update as much as I should.... but I'm getting better from separating myself from it.... and its not like I'm an addict of that game because I have to level my characters, but reather because I feel like there's nothing to do and I don't feel like writing (but I do I just have to force myself to write and then I write forever.... I just need to force myself more and stop trying to be lazy)....
MarkSen Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Sims 3, Dragon Age Origins and 2, almost every Pokemon version, Age of Empires, Civilization V, Warcraft III, Rising Force Online, Megaten, the Persona series, the Kingdom Hearts series, Valkyrie Profile 2, many Final Fantasy games, Star Ocean 2 and 3, Tales series ... and many more. I've forgotten a lot of the games I've played because they're so numerous to immediately recall right now. I don't play games much anymore, but I do occasionally play Pokemon Black, Sims 3, Dragon Age 2 and Civilization V when I have some free time. It's great to see many people here who play many of the games I enjoy too!
Adam Thomas Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Saint's Row, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, Batman: Arkham series, and most other great games.
JMH Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Play Final Fantasy, Dragon Age, Sukoden, Just got the newest Elder Scroll. Really game for any sort of RPG. lots of RTS. Use to play WOW but after the last expansion it began to get stupid (too easy). Playing RIFT which is cool. I must say I've been a bit disappointed with the recent FF. They've gotten too linear. Out of all of them Final Fantasy VI and VII were the best. Wish they would go back to those big open world formula.
iSimba Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 I'm a super-gamer. At one point I probably owned 5 systems, 100+ games, and one souped-up PC that I used for WoW This was about 2 years ago. Now, I don't PC game anymore because it screwed up my wrists and I sold off ~60% of my games to afford the new ones coming out, but I still game ~45 hours a week. As soon as TOR comes out i'ma buying some wrist braces, loading up on mountain dew, and hitting a few all-nighters in a row. Hell yeah! Btw - anyone have opinions on the updated AoC? They sent me a free month so I'm gonna check it out tomorrow
Dee Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 I play a variety of games, but I tend to favor ones like Final Fantasy, Silent Hill, Assassin's Creed, Resident Evil, Heavy Rain, Uncharted, GTA, Xenogears, LA Noire...to name a few. xD It's a bit of a wide range, I know, but I am also very picky. I am not a PC gamer, unless you count SimCity! Man, I need to play that again. Very good time killer. Anyway, I just finished Uncharted 3 about three weeks ago and I am starting on Assassin's Creed: Revelations now that my friend and i can play together.
Site Administrator Myr Posted November 23, 2011 Site Administrator Posted November 23, 2011 I'm currently hunting down the last of the single play achievements in Assassins Creed: Revelations. I also have Halo Anniversary and Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7 that I'm working on.
Nastasha Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Age of Empires III. On occasion I play Call of Duty with my brother, but he hasn't let me play the new one yet. I was really into Dragon Age, but when school started again last semester, I loaned it to a friend who still hasn't given it back. I also love all the Kinect games, but my brother never wants to give up the Xbox so I can play them. When I was younger my brother and I played some James Bond game on the PlayStation almost nightly. I had an obsession with it.
Robbiee Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Nintendo Fan/Valve Fan. Right now I play my 3DS and play Team Fortress 2 on my computer. I could go for a while on my gaming history, but I don't want to bore you all....

Site Administrator Myr Posted November 29, 2011 Site Administrator Posted November 29, 2011 I spent the weekend playing the beta of Star Wars: the Old Republic. It hooked me hard. I'm pre-ordering.

Out of all of them Final Fantasy VI and VII were the best. Wish they would go back to those big open world formula. Suikoden was one of the few games I've ever felt like crying during parts of. I felt the storylines felt more original than Final Fantasy (which I would agree has been linear since VI.) I would actually go as far to say that the games have been boring for a long long time. It feels like they are trying desperately to make the game as visually stunning at the expense of substance. But then again, a lot of video games go that route. Suikoden's 1, 2 and 3 were some of my favorite RPG's. Suikoden 4 was pretty heinous though. lb.
