Kitt Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Okey dokey - try this one:- "Did you ever meet anyone before whose life was saved by "Deep Throat"?" I know I know! 1976 version of KIng Kong
TLM280249 Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 I know I know! 1976 version of KIng Kong Oh dear Kitt - 23 minutes? You're slipping... Your turn
Kitt Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 (edited) ok - try this one. "Forget it! I'm stayin' right where I am. It's gonna take you and the police department and the fire department and the National Guard to get me outta here!" LOL I was working so it took a few minutes to notice the post! OK Kitt - you're off the hook - this time The new line is from "Norma Rae" - another classic movie.
Kitt Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Your turn dear. Are we blaming the 7 hour delay on the time difference?
TLM280249 Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Your turn dear. Are we blaming the 7 hour delay on the time difference? Meowwwww - not my fault you live on the other side of the world.. You're 14 hours behind me. Have a go at this one: "They'll want more now. They want much more. They want more than you could ever give."
Kitt Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 I have a guess - but it's just a guess so I will let others try first.
Kitt Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Ok - since others seem to be guessing too I'll post my guess Phantom ?
Tomas Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Another of those films that very few people seem to have hear of. 1974s "Phantom of the Paradise" Don't recall much about it, except it was one of those "I sold my soul for..." movies.

Not sure I can give you this one Kitt - Tomas is exactly right. It's a "rock opera" adaptation of Phantom of the Opera - predating Andrew Lloyd Webber by 12 years and featuring the music and acting of Paul Williams. One of my favourite movies Your turn Tomas

Kitt Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Psssst Thomas? That would be HER guess dear. Enjoy your time away - what ever the reason for taking it is. Let's try... "I don't know what the hell's in there, but it's weird and pissed off, whatever it is."

"I don't know what the hell's in there, but it's weird and pissed off, whatever it is." You either love him or you hate him - John Carpenter's "The Thing" PS I love him - most of the time...
Kitt Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 LOL you aren't wasting time this morning! Your turn.
TLM280249 Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 LOL you aren't wasting time this morning! Your turn. It's actually evening (almost 11pm) on this side of the world. Try this one:- "Stick the Hershey kisses back in the wrapper, will ya, sweetheart." 1
MJRoberts Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Here's my favorite for y'all to guess: I think the actor actually repeats it twice. "There's no crying in baseball."
Andy78 Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 (edited) It's actually evening (almost 11pm) on this side of the world. Try this one:- "Stick the Hershey kisses back in the wrapper, will ya, sweetheart." That would be a film called Inserts (and probably one of the best euphemisms for breasts I've ever heard). @MJRoberts - just to let you know the way this game works is that we try and guess one film quote at a time. The person who correctly guesses the quote, then posts the next quote. However, since I'm kinda stuck for quotes right now, I'll let people try and guess your quote. Edited April 27, 2014 by Andy78 1

Correct Andy - and definitely one of the most unusual movies I've seen. As for MJRoberts - that would be from "A League Of Their Own" as spoken by Tom Hanks
TLM280249 Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Okey dokey try this one: "I came here to see you. 'Cause I know that now you'll tell me what you're after."
TLM280249 Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Time for a clue maybe? The opening credits (ending with "Directed By...") last over 10 minutes but the title of the movie does not appear until the end of the film.
