TLM280249 Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Yes, you are correct ! And this was the first movie I saw with Leonardo DiCaprio and I have been a big fan of his since then Your turn Me too. OK try this one:- "That's one way to fall asleep. Those stories bore even me. "
TLM280249 Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 The Neverending Story... Good guess Zombie but no... A clue: It's based on a true story The lead actor's German accent (in the movie) has been cited as the third worst movie accent of all time.
Zombie Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 I've just wished Vakyrie a happy birthday - sooo I'm gonna guess it's that with the execrable Tom Cruise who's had plenty of Rotten Tomatoes splattered across his oeuvre
Tomas Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Good guess Zombie but no... A clue: It's based on a true story The lead actor's German accent (in the movie) has been cited as the third worst movie accent of all time. Didn't know that it was ranked, but the German accent that the actor in "Seven Years in Tibet" used was truly atrocious. The only thing that I remember about the film is that I didn't watch the whole thing because the accent was so annoying and I found the movie boring. Don't know if that was the movie you got the quote from, but I suppose that it's as good a guess as any.
Slytherin Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 (edited) Inglourious Basterds ?? Too late and I was wrong lol I Think Brad Pitt spoke awful italian in "Inglourious Basterds" Edited June 12, 2014 by slytherin

Tomas Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Thanks! It was the clue about the terrible German accent that triggered the memory of that film. Anyhow... here's the next one: “You play chess, do you not? … As long as I resist you, I live. If I win, you set me free.”
Tomas Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 The Seventh Seal by Ingmar Bergman DAMN! I'm going to have to dig deeper in my quote database. It's all yours.
Slytherin Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 DAMN! I'm going to have to dig deeper in my quote database. It's all yours. Ingmar Bergman is Swedish and so am I. This happens to be my favorite Ingmar Bergman film and last Friday at work a collegue and I was talking about this Movie and I did my best "Death"-impression - she was Max von Sydow New quote : A toast before we go into battle. True love. In whatever shape or form it may come. May we all in our dotage be proud to say, "I was adored once too."

TLM280249 Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Can't believe I'm finding such difficult quotes. OK a clue :- Yet another American remake of foreign language film (but this one was almost as good as the original). Unlike most remakes, this one used the same location and character names as the original. 1

TLM280249 Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 That's an easy one for me Blue so I'll let someone else have a go. 1
Tomas Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 That's an easy one for me Blue so I'll let someone else have a go. I was waiting for someone else to post the answer, as it was also an easy one for me. Was beginning to feel like there were only two of us playing, dominating the game, and I didn't like that. Is there nobody playing anymore? Wondering that also.
