Carlos Hazday Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Fan-fricking-tastic game your boys played yesterday, Dayne. I was screaming for the Hokies big time. Rooting for Tech was a given; I love to watch an ACC team beat an SEC one, but Rain and Cory kept flashing through my mind. 1

Tammian Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 I loved the new chapter Dayne! Will we get a reaction from the Garza's soon? I'm sure Efrain's mom will have a lot to say about Connor Sr.'s treatment of Cory. 3
Hudson Bartholomew Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Great new chapter! Are we going to get another midnight meeting of Cake Club?! Please?! 5
Popular Post Carlos Hazday Posted January 2, 2017 Popular Post Posted January 2, 2017 Excellent installment, Dayne. Realistic dialogue which had me tearing up from laughing so hard. Are we sure you're a girl? The way you capture the banter between a bunch of men is uncanny. Not something I see a lot of. Your guys, gay and non-gay, sound like men hanging out instead of simpering wusses. Subaru may object to one of their vehicles being called a breeder mobile but the line had me close to pissing my shorts. Rain's in-you-face protectiveness of Cory was the most romantic scene I've read in ages. 'So fucking killing you guys later' is my new favorite line of dialogue. I think I may have used similar language with my brothers at one point or another. Keep the chapters coming, my friend. 6

I fully agree with this, the banter is so authentic, I was actually very surprised when I realized Dayne was a lady. That is NOT to discount any of the lady authors on here at all, who write fantastic characters. But Dayne has a way of coloring the dialogue with this subtle flavor of maleness, I actually thought she was a young guy in college herself for a while. 3
Popular Post Dayne Mora Posted January 5, 2017 Author Popular Post Posted January 5, 2017 (edited) Okay, so I did a thorough self-check, and even had the hubs confirm, and I'm reasonably certain that I'm still female. lol I grew up with 2 little brothers who had their friends over all the time, and I always got along with guys better. Some of my hobbies and interests are more traditionally masculine. And, it doesn't hurt that I taught for four years at a robotics magnet school that drew in more male students than female. The really weird thing, is that I'm hella fucking girly, despite the masculine influences. Elaine Card needed a vehicle large enough to haul around four children, who were rapidly growing larger than even her husband, and all their gear. The Chevy Suburban is one of those tank-like vehicles that can seat eight and still have room for cargo, which makes it a popular choice. Cameron Card, once he stopped crying about it, discovered that the extra room made hooking up easier, too. Edited January 5, 2017 by Dayne Mora 8
Dayne Mora Posted January 7, 2017 Author Posted January 7, 2017 No idea who Niko Pepaj is, but hello 'Rain! 5
Defiance19 Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 Ahhh, nice. I know him from How to get away with murder.. he and Connor had a thing. I remember wondering if it was weird cause they kind of looked alike. Connor is played by Jack Falahee(sp) by the way.

Popular Post Timothy M. Posted January 20, 2017 Popular Post Posted January 20, 2017 Just reread all the Wild Card chapters, I'm having withdrawal symptoms... 6
Dayne Mora Posted January 22, 2017 Author Posted January 22, 2017 Sorry In other, totally not related news, Netflix has the first season of The Magicians. I've now decided that Hale Appleman's Eliot is what you'd get if Preston and Indie did the fusion dance. 2
AugustusWaters Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 I'm dying of suspense. Again. GAAAAAHHHH 5
hohochan657 Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Just reread all the Wild Card chapters, I'm having withdrawal symptoms... I'm dying of suspense. Again. GAAAAAHHHH I AM dead, my spirit will hound dear Dayne until a new chapter is posted ... 3
Popular Post Dayne Mora Posted February 12, 2017 Author Popular Post Posted February 12, 2017 It's coming along, slowly but surely. Got my ass handed to me by a standardized test and a trip to the gym, so I'm still recuperating. 6
Popular Post Ruslana di Angelo Posted February 12, 2017 Popular Post Posted February 12, 2017 As much as I want to understand your difficulties, I don't think I can take it any longer. Have mercy on us and post soon. Excellent installment, Dayne. Realistic dialogue which had me tearing up from laughing so hard. Are we sure you're a girl? For a while you had me convinced that you are a guy. I love Indie's transformation. Until recently I really wanted to kill Indie. I haven't quite forgiven him yet though Preston has. I love the way the story's getting complicated now. And is it only me or are you cutting down the intimate scenes? I know you are building the story line, but stillllllllllllllllllllll 6
Timothy M. Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 A good way to pass time while you wait for a new chapter, would be to leave reviews on the chapters there already. Of course, then Dayne has to spend time replying, but she usually does that just before or after the next chapter posts. 3
AugustusWaters Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 This is a good idea. It has the added bonus of distracting me from doing all my actual work for class!! Seriously, procrastination is hard! 1
wenmale64 Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 procrastination is an art and I am a great artist in this genre 3
