Thorn Wilde Posted December 13, 2018 Posted December 13, 2018 Coffee with my new friend was awesome. We have so much in common. We like a lot of the same things (but not enough for conversation to get boring), we talked about practically everything. I talked about gender, he asked good, respectful and well informed questions, I just had the most wonderful time. And he’s a little bit queer. Like, he doesn’t want to put a label on it, but he says he’s not entirely straight. Which is cool. Means if he wants he’ll fit in nicely with my friends. Even though I’m definitely on my way into a depressive episode, I feel happy right now. New friends are great. 1 2

Thorn Wilde Posted December 13, 2018 Posted December 13, 2018 (edited) So, I don’t know if anyone here has heard of the Norwegian author Karl Ove Knausgård, but I just watched a 90 minute take-down of his awful, misogynistic, rape apologist, homophobic, borderline Nazi six volume memoir by a woman who used to babysit me as a kid, and it was glorious. This has been a good day. Edited December 13, 2018 by Thorn Wilde 3

Thorn Wilde Posted December 14, 2018 Posted December 14, 2018 Morning, everybody. Hope you're all well. Tired today. Possibly too much social interaction for this introvert yesterday. And I find myself having one of those second guessing my worth and wondering if people actually like me or not days. 3

Popular Post Mikiesboy Posted December 14, 2018 Author Popular Post Posted December 14, 2018 zibeline noun | ZIB-uh-leen Definition : a soft lustrous wool fabric with mohair, alpaca, or camel's hair Though zibeline is woven from the hair of alpacas, camels, or Angora goats, its name actually traces back to a Slavic word for the sable, a small mammal related to the weasel. The Slavic term was adopted into Old Italian, and from there it passed to Middle French, then on to English in the late 1500s. English zibeline originally referred to the sable or its fur, but in the 19th century it developed a second sense, applying to a soft, smooth, slightly furry material woven from a mixture of animal hairs. It's especially suited to women's suits and coats, or, as a fashion columnist in the December 6, 1894 issue of Vogue observed, "Zibeline ... makes an exceedingly pretty, warm theatre cloak, not too fine to be crushed into the small one-chair space." ***i have never heard this word before... and i have written about goats, though not Angora ... 5 1

And I think occasionally rereading things you wrote a long time ago can be beneficial for further development and improvement. I have some stuff published under a different pen name from ages ago, though, and it's so, so bad! I am never divulging that pen name to anyone here. Ever. I'd delete every account I had, but truth be told, I don't remember my passwords and don't even have access to the e-mail addresses I used back then. 2
