I had seasoned pan fried chicken breast, dipped in flour, which I cooked until crispy on the outside. So good! I had simple minute rice and peas with it... sliced tomato and olives, and fro yo for dessert. Nothing fancy but it hit the spot. 5 1

I couldn't understand why they would go up there so often. There are a lot easier ways to get in and out of the barn, and I keep the work stall door closed. I was staring up at the ceiling and thinking, and then noticed Cookie was really interested in my wood box, which I organized so all the wood pieces are standing up in sections. I checked it out and saw a little face staring up at me. I don't know if I mentioned it, but I thought Wobbles had kittens, but that they died because she is so small. Yeah, they didn't die, and of course it is Wobbles that kept knocking things off the top shelf when she would 'break in' to my WS. That cat is always causing me work... she was the one trapped in a wall of my tack room as a kitten. So now I have nine kittens because there were two little buggers in there, and I had to pull out all the wood to get at them without hurting them. Arghhh! One is tiny and solid black, and the other is solid light grey tabby. The black one has an oily coat, but the other is not so bad, and my guess is Wobbles stepped into my oil pail beside the box. It has a couple of inches of old oil from my lawn tractor, and it would be just like her. The bottom of the box in one corner feels a little oily. I rubbed the black one with a clean tee shirt, and it is way better, so I'm going to leave it. Just being out of the box will help them get cleaner. The tiny one ate right away, but the bigger one( a lot bigger) didn't. When I went back in to check on them after I left for a few minutes, they followed the older kittens into the stall door I leave open for the other kittens when a raccoon comes in, so they already know the drill when the barn door opens. Oh God. NINE.... Note: I had to fix just about every word of this post... I can't wait to get back to normal.... 4 2 1

It was when the boys reached Webelos that male leaders became preferred though both my assistants were moms. Scout troops are almost entirely male led though the new female troops must have female leaders. Considering what I've been reading in the news about sexual abuse of kids in Boy Scouts I'm glad to hear about your great work, dugh, and about the boring but safe experiences you had, Page. 5 1

A Danish expert debunked that one in our news, as soon as it came up. He says no research supports this myth. 10 hours ago, Albert1434 said: Have a care Page you could end up in the pit Nothing political about discussing this myth. After all, the idea is common everywhere, and lots of people believe this, not just politicians, since it's deceptively logical to the human mind (says the Danish expert in the article). Popular Post Timothy M. Posted August 10, 2019 Popular Post Posted August 10, 2019 (edited) Have a nice weekend, I'm busy with work at the moment, so that's why I'm not around so much. Hope you're all OK. We've had a bit of excitement in Copenhagen the last few days, some idiots blew up the front of the Tax Revenue Office one night and the entrance to a local police station last night. No one was hurt, but we're not really used to anyone blowing things up with dynamite. Apparently, there have been other similar incidents this year, hitting a few businesses and cars. None with injuries or fatalities, but the tax office explosion was right opposite a train station where a few people were waiting for our local subway, so they had something of a shock. Let's hope the police catches the perpetrators. Edited August 10, 2019 by Timothy M. 5 4

Site Administrator Popular Post Valkyrie Posted August 10, 2019 Site Administrator Popular Post Posted August 10, 2019 I have a busy day ahead of me today. I already went grocery shopping this morning, so I'm all stocked up for my guests This morning, I'll do some cooking in preparation for the dinner I want to make tomorrow. Pulled pork with homemade bbq sauce, spinach salad with warm bacon dressing, roasted broccoli, and my famous butterscotch brownies for dessert. I also have a few odds and ends to do around the house. I'm getting my hair done this afternoon, then afterwards my mom will come over and help me with some things I can't do on my own. Then I try to relax for a bit before Cole and Randy arrive late tonight It's absolutely beautiful out this morning. Upper 50s and sunny 1 6
