6am and back from the party. It was really nice but ugh I'm too old for this though before leaving I was almost asleep but having to scratch a thick coat of ice of the windshield of her car by -5°C kind of has the power to magically make you wide awake.

Not sure if this is current but it gives you some idea of the problem the east coast is facing

Overlaying the map on such a heavily populated area like this provides a frightening perspective. Just imagine ...

We arrived safely in PA and spent the evening with my stepsis and her family. We'll return there for a meal of pork 'n sauerkraut this afternoon.

No, it doesn't make sense. I watch a show called Life Below Zero, and another one called Alaska: The Last Frontier, and they all talk about how unpredictable the arctic has become. Nothing makes sense anymore there as well. :(  :hug:  Happy New Year, B! :glomp:
