You were pretty close, he was there and settled in,  in time for lunch, fish and chips  

The new facility is still on lockdown but it does make deliveries very easy. The staff were very apologetic about no visitors allowed but I told them it’s keeping Dad safe so it’s a good thing.

Another good day, here. Currently around 14°C (57°F) with a high expected of 17°C (63°F).

The good news is that the Met office is predicting highs of up to 20°C (68°F) over the weekend.

The bad news is that they're predicting that the current spell of settled weather may be ending early next week.

Glad to hear he's settled, 30 minutes is a much more doable drive.

Enjoy the day in your garden and prepare to move indoors. While you may not enjoy the indoor labor as much you'll still feel a sense of accomplishment.

Mickey's birthday is three days away. He's turning 17 this year. MIL is making a cake, and she'll put paper streamers up around the house. Morgan and I sent the prezzies through the mail, but we'll have a video chat session with them on the big day.
