Hi all,

A nice day here, the wind is a bit chilly but the sun is shining. I've harvest almost 300g of strawberries this morning. They're big, nothing to envy to the Spanish ones. The harvest is a bit bigger every day. 

Today I've got to send my essays online, they'll serve as exams.

Hi, clo

Not much sun here yet, but the day should improve. Quite cold this morning, but the forecast is that last night should have seen the last of the frosts. That's good news, as my potatoes are finally starting to show shoots above the ground (saw the first one yesterday - now there are about seven). I sowed two seed trays with cabbage seeds yesterday, one with summer cabbage, and one with a winter variety. The runner bean seeds I sowed in deep pots about two weeks ago have finally started sprouting. Currently about 17 of the 55 have sprouted. And 49 of the 50 onion sets are now growing happily - hopefully the 50th was just planted a little deeper than the rest and will appear eventually. Strawberry plants have plenty of flowers, but I reckon I won't harvest any fruits until well into June. I also sowed some nasturtium and calendula seeds two days ago, and must get some of my other flower seeds sown.

Well they up grade the Earthquake to 6.4 that is the biggest one we have had in 20 years

So, here was my night... First, a pile of poop at the back door at 9pm. No, I didn't do it.   I cleaned it up and wondered why Cookie did it. I put her in her crate, and later,  at 11pm, she had diarrhea... took the tray outside and hosed it off and scrubbed it. I repeated that at 2am, 4am, and 7am. Gave her a bath at 11am and she jumped out of the tub and ran around the house at top speed. Of course she landed on my bed, so the bedding is in the washer now. I put her back in the tub and finished. I used four towels to wipe up all the water and dry her. Sigh. She seems okay... smells like Ivory soap... lots of energy and she ate half her breakfast. I'm exhausted.
