But an awful lot of rain has fallen on it this past three days, which has left the ground too wet to do any gardening. Looks like the next few days should be reasonably dry, so that should give me the chance to mow the lawns and, more importantly, erect some netting for the peas to climb up, and sink some posts to run string between to support the broad beans. I've spent the past couple of days mainly inside the house. One of the jobs I've been doing is washing down doors & door frames, and window reveals & sills, to remove years of accumulated dirt and grime. It was only when I finished each one that I realised just how dirty they had been. 1 4

That would look very nice Marty. Would it be a dark stain? 4

Popular Post Headstall Posted June 30, 2020 Popular Post Posted June 30, 2020 Hey, all. Had a lousy night... spent the morning at the ophthalmologist because I had sudden onset of floaters and lightning. There were no tears or detachment, so he's not too concerned. He gave me drops that are still affecting my vision so I think I will lay down for a while... I am so relieved... I might be stuck with this for a while, but the lightning might disappear in a few days if I'm lucky. One of the many benefits of aging. 4 3
