Currently 15°C/59°F with a possible high of 19/66. Got a Zoom meeting starting in 5 minutes time, and then meeting some friends for a socially distanced lunch. Hope you all have a good day. Morning, bro. 4 1

My new floaters are still right in the center of my left eye's vision, but I am more used to it now. It makes my vision blurry, and I have to blink a lot, but I'm adapting... I think.... 5 1

I'm going to leave the painting (white) to another day. We are getting another heatwave over the next week... not that the last one ever left. 2 1 3

We are getting another heatwave over the next week... not that the last one ever left. I actually managed to get my lawns mowed yesterday afternoon, as the promised showers didn't arrive until the evening. If the weather forecast is correct (which I'm hoping it won't be) it looks as though the next week is going to struggle to get above 16C/61F here any day, with spells of rain or showers most days, and hardly any sun. Doesn't sound as though I shall get much garden work done, so I'll just have to try and motivate myself to get on with the wallpaper stripping, etc, indoors... 4 2
Popular Post Marty Posted July 24, 2020 Popular Post Posted July 24, 2020 Anyway, it's Friday, so here's my week 17 (of 52) black & white photograph of two young male strippers in my bedroom last Tuesday: Spoiler 1 6

I wish I could turn my air conditioning off and snuggle under a blanket for one night... oh well... those nights are coming. On a good note, my two pepper plants are finally producing fruit. 6

I used "Love" because I also love many of the features of the new, old house as well. But I also wanted to use "Laugh" because of your final comment. Spoiler Maybe I should just point out that the two lads are both quite young. Indeed I have a birthday cake baked and waiting to be decorated for the 16th birthday in a few days time for the one on the ladder. They were basically sent down to help me by their parents, who just wanted them out of the house because, since the lockdown, they tend to spend most days sitting in front of their screens playing on the X-Box. The Government promised today that schools will definitely reopen in September for the first time since 12th March last. Parents are happy - but many kids (including those two) not so happy. They're good kids, though. Not a word of complaint each time they've helped me in the house. And really hard workers. Edited July 24, 2020 by Marty 4 2
