It got colder here too with rain on and off for the last 2 days. Barely 18°C so I went with jeans and a light 3/4 sleeves blouse with a light jacket when I went out. Good thing I've finish my crochet sweater which is perfect for this kind of weather. I've brought the peppers in the house (I can hear dad sighs when he'll see this ) as I don't want to lose them. I've got about 10 cayenne peppers and 3 sweet peppers growing. 5 2
Popular Post clochette Posted August 29, 2020 Popular Post Posted August 29, 2020 My strawberry sparkling wine is almost ready. Lifting the dish cloth you can smell the alcohol fumes. So I've sprained about 1L for a tasting tomorrow and left the rest to ferment a bit more. I've had a couple of sips and it's tasty but not really strong enough yet. 6

The yeast won't have had time to make much alcohol in that short of a time. I doubt it'll be any more potent than the ginger beer my mam used to make for us when I was a nipper. 5 2
