See, I told the story I wanted, but I often get readers asking for more... so this time, I'm beating them to it. It could well be Epilogue... part one, two, and three. You're naming the story Epilogue? 6

Was great to have a chat with him. He wanted a bagel for some reason, crispy bread I think. We all got them and they were delicious. Good choice on his part. The weather on the way back was worse and my box shaped car was getting blown around so I stopped about 1/3 of the way back home and stayed overnight. That was a very good move And I sorted lunch tomorrow on the way back, local apples, local cheese, local chutney, local cheese biscuits - a nice combo Seems your lunch is very ... localised. 3

Lunch was real nice The biscuits I picked up reminded me of the ones my grandmother used to make. Very cheesy and spiced with cayenne pepper. Worked well with the cheese and apple. 6

Popular Post Marty Posted September 8, 2020 Popular Post Posted September 8, 2020 Hi everyone. Hope you're all having a good day. I've been a bit worried, as I seem to have come down with a head cold, even though I have been as careful as possible with my social distancing. My worry, of course, being that I couldn't be 100% certain that it is merely a head cold, even though the symptoms are exactly the same as every other head cold I've had. However, I've just had my temperature taken, and it is 36.2°C (97.2°F), so it's definitely not covid-19 related. My GP tells me the normal range for human body temperature is from 36 to 36.8°C (96.8 to 98.2°F), and that older people are likely to have readings in the lower range. He thinks I probably got infected either when I picked up or left back the blood pressure monitor last week I expect to be back to normal in a few days (I usually am), but don't worry if this head cold means I don't join in the chat here as much for the next while. 1 5

Popular Post clochette Posted September 8, 2020 Popular Post Posted September 8, 2020 (edited) I did some massive sorting through my clothes today. It was long overdue. I'm done keeping this or that in hope that one day, maybe, I'll fit in it again or for when I do sport. Who am I kidding About a third went to an association that collects second hands clothes for poor people or homeless, 1/4 I put away to sell online (the new and almost new that don't fit anymore). Now that some space has been cleared I'm thinking of taking off some shelves and putting up a rod has now I'm mostly wearing shirts and blouses that are better hanging rather than tshirts that were folded. Amazon has their system down, but these other places... arghhh! Hey, all! Hope your days are going better than mine. Thank god I have a small lumber place near me that stocks most things, and delivers for free. 6 1
