Popular Post clochette Posted September 23, 2020 Popular Post Posted September 23, 2020 I'm at the apartment waiting for the plumber. He's supposed to come between 12 and 2PM. In the meantime let's hope I won't need to use the toilet... 6

Queens Birthday, which is actually in April but the rest of the country “celebrates” it in June but we have Western Australia Day then and just to confuse things, the week after is Labour Day for most of the country which we celebrate in March... Confused? 1 4

Popular Post Bucket1 Posted September 23, 2020 Popular Post Posted September 23, 2020 (edited) Just because holiday confusion isn’t enough, on 4th October half the country goes on day light savings while the other half complains about it A few people at work got a bit stroppy when I pointed out the webinar they booked in for 12:30 was actually going to start at 11:30 our time. I was just trying to help Edited September 23, 2020 by Bucket1 6
Popular Post Marty Posted September 23, 2020 Popular Post Posted September 23, 2020 (edited) Daylight saving ends in Ireland at 2:00am on Sunday, 25th October this year. The EU are talking about doing away with daylight saving. That could cause confusion in Ireland after Brexit as, if the UK don't follow suit, there could be two different time zones during the summer on what is quite a small island. https://www.timeanddate.com/news/time/europe-dst-end-2019.html Edited September 23, 2020 by Marty typo 6

Popular Post clochette Posted September 23, 2020 Popular Post Posted September 23, 2020 (edited) The plumber came. Of course it didn't leak when he reopened the main tap... just a little drop but he said the join is old and need to be change one of those day. He said the boiler is making a weird noise 🤷🏻♀️ it always did since I moved in. He'll come check tomorrow. But of course I hadn't planned on staying the night and don't have pj and a change of clothe. Can this week be over now and everything perfect? Edited September 23, 2020 by clochette 6
