Yup. Good thing is later this week and the next the weather is going to be very autumnal and colder so let's hope he'll be less tempted to go out. He went to sleep right away when we came home from the vet and slept all night but this morning he was really pissed about not allow outside...

A Google search suggests some parts of Australia may be celebrating the Queen's birthday this weekend...

Not sure why, though, as it isn't her birthday.

[Queen Elizabeth II actually had her 94th birthday on April 24th 2020, although she also has an Official Birthday on the second Saturday in June each year. Something to do with the unpredictable British weather, I understand. https://www.insider.com/why-does-the-queen-have-2-birthdays-2016-4]

But Bucket likes to say he lives in our future, so maybe he's celebrating her 95th...

Queens Birthday, which is actually in April but the rest of the country “celebrates” it in June but we have Western Australia Day then and just to confuse things, the week after is Labour Day for most of the country which we celebrate in March...

Just because holiday confusion isn’t enough, on 4th October half the country goes on day light savings while the other half complains about it

A few people at work got a bit stroppy when I pointed out the webinar they booked in for 12:30 was actually going to start at 11:30 our time. I was just trying to help

Daylight saving ends in Ireland at 2:00am on Sunday, 25th October this year.

The EU are talking about doing away with daylight saving. That could cause confusion in Ireland after Brexit as, if the UK don't follow suit, there could be two different time zones during the summer on what is quite a small island.

The plumber came. Of course it didn't leak when he reopened the main tap...  just a little drop but he said the join is old and need to be change one of those day. He said the boiler is making a weird noise 🤷🏻‍♀️ it always did since I moved in. He'll come check tomorrow. But of course I hadn't planned on staying the night and don't have pj and a change of clothe.

Can this week be over now and everything perfect?

I've stay home all afternoon. I finally go grocery shopping, leaving for 20 minutes top. Of course when I came back the boiler was leaking... arrg it's driving me crazy. Plumber is coming back. He isn't even sexy
