G'day y'all. We had intended an early morning walk until the rain started. The forecast is for it to end by mid morning so perhaps later. Thistle has an appointment at the groomers. I'm having him clipped again in a summer cut before we leave. It will still be warm in SC and we plan to walk on the beach. The shorter fur is a must and will have grown in again before any cold weather.

Yesterday was a washout here in Ireland. Today's a bit drier, but the forecast for the week isn't really all that promising. A definite autumnal feel to the day.

Hi all, it rained all night with heavy wind, the aftereffects of the storm that hit bretagne this weekend getting more inland.  Though nothing the south went through. 

I'm having pork sauté. I cooked it in the Cookeo. It was my first time using it and it came out great. The meat is very tender and the potatoes and carrots perfectly cooked. Though I might have put a bit too much thyme,  at least for my taste.

My doctor has taken the day off, so I had a consult with an emergency physician, and she wants to see me at the clinic. I have to be there for 1:20. Thank god I don't have to go inside a big hospital... she said they normally come out to the car now, but she wants to do an examination inside. She might want to flush my ear.

She didn't flush it after all... saw discharge but no wax. Thinks I have two infections going on, and noticed right away the left side of my face is swollen from temple to jaw. I have an inner ear and an outer ear infection... so antibiotic drops and an antibiotic pill. She also said the discharge looked suspicious, as in possibly something she isn't treating. I asked what she meant, and she said ear infections could be unusual, like it could be yeast or something else I don't remember. I can't hear out of the ear at all, so it was hard to converse. She's going to call me to check on me and says to go to the hospital if I feel ill or have worse or unusual symptoms. Sigh....
