I've been doing a lot of work in my den.  I had a bunch of boxes of stuff I brought in to go through, then lost the motivation to do it lol  So I finally went through them and got rid of a bunch of stuff.  I did some reorganizing and consolidating of other stuff.  I cleared a couple of shelves off so I can display my Halloween horses.  My mom is coming over sometime this week and we'll do the rest of the Halloween decorating.  I made two batches of butternut squash soup in the slow cooker.  I put a bunch of it in the freezer so I'll have it for a while now.

Pretty rough still. I'll call my doctor if tomorrow isn't better. It apparently takes five days or a week to feel better a lot of times.

Waiting to hear back from the doctor I saw on Monday... the clinic office called and left a message that the swab found a bacteria in my ear and the doctor wanted to know if the antibiotic pills and eardrops were working. They're not. I told them this was the fourth day, and while the swelling has gone down some, the ear is still very painful, I can't hear out of it, and my throat hurts much worse. I think I need something stronger.

You need to stop sticking your fingers in your ears after playing with dirty things ...

If they were checking they probably thought you needed a different antibiotic to deal with that bacteria.
