I picked the perfect time to do my dishes tonight.  My kitchen window above the sink looks out to the street I live on.  A car drove down my street, all decked out in Christmas lights, blaring Christmas music.  The people inside were dressed in Santa outfits (at least the ones I could see... it was dark out) and waved at everyone as they drove slowly by, honking and and yelling "Merry Christmas".  It was actually really nice to see   It warmed my heart they went to the trouble to make other people feel better.

Hey baby, Merry Christmas eve to you too tonight we're having dinner with grandma and my mom's brother. Tomorrow for lunch my dad' sister will join us with her family and we'll open the presents then. 

What are your plans to celebrate?

Every year, me and my family have a huge Christmas dinner, and one of the things we eat is homemade tamales. Right now, my family is making those tamales as I type this. And they make a lot, but given our appetite, all those tamales will be eaten by the day after Christmas, lol.
