Popular Post Sherye Story Reader Posted December 28, 2020 Popular Post Posted December 28, 2020 (edited) I hate to say this, but 2004 was the year my late husband lost his third born son who committed suicide! He is my stepson's full blood brother. We will always miss him. He is with his Dad now in heaven and has been for 5 years, 3 months, and 26 days. And yes I miss my late husband so much! My husband lost his will to live when Jeffery died and then when he lost a leg then he was never the same! Plus Jeffery's daughter was only 4 years old when she lost her dad! Popular Post Marty Posted December 28, 2020 Popular Post Posted December 28, 2020 (edited) We're still on page 2,004, so I'll share my abiding memory of the year 2004... 2004 was the year my mother died. She was 82 years old at the time. She would often tell us when we were kids that a fortune teller had told her she would live to be 82, and she died a few weeks after her 82nd birthday. Whilst I don't really have much faith in fortune tellers, I think that in my mam's case that's what enabled her to actually live to that age. She had not been in very good health for years, and we thought we were losing her on a number of occasions. I suspect that prophecy, given to her when she was just a child herself, kept her going a good bit longer than she would have done otherwise. Edited December 28, 2020 by Marty Tidying up 2 6
