I almost forgot what day it is.  

Day of the week, that is.

Here's week 40 of my challenge to take and upload a new black-and-white photograph each week for 52 weeks:

It was taken this morning. As you can see, we had a small amount of snow fall overnight.

Well, I braved the snow outside and I went to the store. My step daughter in law drove my car. We were all out of drinking water. Been home about 30 minutes now. Are you proud of this old lady for going out in snow that she has to wade through? Oh forgot to tell you, my step daughter in law made a narrow path on the ramp for me to get down the ramp. Wasn't that nice of her! lol

And I didn't remind you it was Friday  Love the photo.  That's just the right amount of snow.

Very easy at this time of year. I wondered why my alarm didn’t go off this morning and then remembered it is Saturday

Just be careful. Our bones aren't as strong as they used to be.

Another tough but productive day working downstairs. So much still to do, but I'm at least making headway.

I don't know why but I am so sleepy all of a sudden. It is only 9:30 at night and I am a night owl. Throw some cold water on me so I can wake up and by the time I get dried, then I should be wide awake and ready for more reading. YOU CAN EVEN PUT ICE CUBES IN IT! lol

The garden in winter slumber lies, awaiting Spring's wakening zephyr kiss ...

This one reminds me of winters past spent at my home up north. I haven't seen my garden dusted with snow for a awhile.  Thank you for the memories this evoked. It is an outstanding photo.
