Popular Post Headstall Posted July 9, 2022 Popular Post Posted July 9, 2022 A mother cat was killed on the road... and I can't find Falkor. He always greets me at the door and comes when I call. Not looking good, but maybe he is out hunting. I found one kitten from the dead mother... it is hiding in the garage, so it must be hungry to come out from their spot under the front deck. Can't find the other one but I propped the barn door between the garage and the barn open, and there is food and water just inside. Still hoping Falkor will show up.... 4 4

My dad was a grocer and professional meat cutter. I still eat more meat than veggies. For starters, I am a lady (no worries, it's common mistake in this thread). I had to stop eating pork for health reasons, and I cut out red meat around the same time and eventually lost the taste for both. Chicken, turkey, and fish are enough for me. I like veggies too. It's giving up carbs that would end up breaking me, not meat. 5 1

Popular Post Drew Espinosa Posted July 9, 2022 Popular Post Posted July 9, 2022 (edited) Howdy y'all! Sorry for the delay... Choyayo can barely stay still for any amount of time so it took awhile to get a decent pic of him. Edited July 9, 2022 by Drew Espinosa 7

Popular Post Drew Espinosa Posted July 9, 2022 Popular Post Posted July 9, 2022 Both Mr. Meow and Beast are pretty chill with Choyayo, while Curie and Missy are still hostile to him. 6 1

He was down to just one, and wouldn't see the cat for a few days. He'd think to himself, "Aww, H***, the coyotes must have finally got him." Guess who'd turn up a while later? 4 1

Popular Post Headstall Posted July 10, 2022 Popular Post Posted July 10, 2022 Falkor has passed away. He was laying peacefully under my car... one of his favorite spots for sleeping, and it looked like that is what he was doing. I looked under the car from a distance this morning, but he blends with the light gravel, so I missed him... it was my son who spotted him when he got home from work. It is a sad day for us... he was a truly awesome cat and buddy... and is now buried in the back corner of my property, where I can see him from the window. My son did the work... I was a bit of a mess. R.I.P. Falkor, my shadow. 9
