I didn’t do 5k but did manage some time in the wilderness

The Jarrah trees were in blossom so I am hoping to get some Jarrah honey soon. Tastes so good. We used to drizzle it on ice cream when we were kids but I love it on toast now.

4K walk today. Chilly and dreary, but it was really cool to hear ice cracking in a field. Very loud and took me a minute to figure out what it was. I also saw two crows as big as hawks overhead.

I'm officially in winter break for a week! 🥳 Lot of work, studying and tons papers to prep (and look for) for my admission file for the master degree but I'm going back to dad's on Sunday or Monday for a few days to get a breath of fresh air.
