It's served in a couple of my favorite restaurants in our gay village, when asparagus is in season. One serves it as an appetizer.

Oh kind of like a local receip call Ficelle Picarde maybe. It's a crepe, rolls with a slice of ham, mushrooms and cheese inside and bechamel on top

Crepes are becoming popular as a street food in America. This weekend, I might visit one of the two places in town that make them.

Yeah well... IHOP    You need to try them at a proper place.  I've eaten at two creperies and both places had incredible food.  There's one about an hour from here that serves a chicken cordon bleu crepe that's one of the best things I've ever eaten.  It's fascinating watching them make the crepes.  It's really an art form.

I've been to State Street Marketplace before, but I didn't know they added a kiosk for crepes! 

You should definitely try them at one of these two places. There is a creperie near mum's. We go there for the occasional brekkie. When the weather is nice we sit outdoors and Thistle is welcome. They may an excellent asaparagus crepe with black forest ham, sauteed shallots, gureyre and a drizzle of hollandaise.

So, if we had crepes for supper and breakfast, what will we have for lunch? Crepes?  Not complaining, but since I'm a growing little boy (hey! I saw those looks! ), I need more carbs and proteins. So, can we add some bagels with cream cheese too?

Just to put all those dangers into some perspective, you are more likely to die falling of a chair than all of the above combined. Who knew chairs could be so dangerous?
