And me too, please. :)  Um... what are they?

They're donuts.  :)  In Poland, they're called Paczki (poonch-key).

They're very popular in the weeks leading up to Fat Tuesday. Traditionally, Christians had to stop eating "fatty" foods like eggs, sugar, and butter/lard before the Lenten season, so donuts are an excellent (and delicious) way to use up those ingredients before then.

Christians used to be essentially vegan during lent. Except occasional seafood.

 Their estimate was about a week to a week and a half and I figured on two - three since renovations always take longer than expected.  So I'm very happy with how things are moving along.  I'm quite happy with the quality of work too.  It's obvious the guy takes pride in his work.  :)

Morning, sis.
