Still a wee bit windy - although my sister in the north of England tells me they are being battered with the wind today. The storms that come in from the Atlantic have to traverse Ireland before they get to Britain. Seems as though this one didn't lose too much strength whilst crossing Ireland. I'm gonna be busy for most of today and evening, and am heading across the Irish sea tomorrow for the best part of a two week holiday in England visiting family and friends over there. So I may be a little quiet on here today and tomorrow, but I'll try to at least stick my head round the door whilst I am on the road/sea and see what's happening in CoTT. Safe journey. 6

Thanks, Gary! I fully intend to. 6 hours ago, Thorn Wilde said: Yeah, I've jotted down my initial thoughts on the thing and am leaving it for now, I think. Really need to focus on Storms, I'm very behind there. Hope you find the energy you need to do what you love. I have plans for a series of vignettes about a dysfunctional gay character (based on someone I used to know). I have the first one about half written. I also have a text document containing 5 separate chapter "titles" - each title being a sort of memory prompt as to what that particular vignette may be about... 5 hours ago, Thorn Wilde said: Reveal hidden contents A π-thon... Popular Post Headstall Posted March 15, 2019 Popular Post Posted March 15, 2019 Cookie and I narrowly avoided disaster with a skunk in my barn today... yikes... so close. Anyway, we had three good walks in the drizzle, and now we are headed for bed. And, yes, she sleeps on my bed... or my son's. This photo is cool... I've been doing some research on my ancestors, and where I come from. This was taken in Wales, in 1965, and it hits home than many of my Scottish, Irish, and Welsh ancestors might have had Border Collies... that makes me feel good... like I was destined to have her... silly maybe, but I'm old... Sweet dreams, all. 4 2 3

Site Administrator Popular Post Valkyrie Posted March 15, 2019 Site Administrator Popular Post Posted March 15, 2019 Good morning The temps are still nice and mild, but they're supposed to fall throughout the day, bringing rain and the dreaded 's' word. I'm really sad to see the news this morning. My heart goes out to the citizens of New Zealand and the victims of such a horrible thing. 1 1 7
