It's warm here too... my blacksmith just left, and the sun is shining. It was a nice day in Charleston, warm (85/29°) but there was a light breeze. We had a late breakfast at the place we always eat breakfast. Since it was nice we dined al fresco so Thistle could be with us. Then made a quick visit to the Battery. Watched a tall ship leave the harbor. Then because the sun was hot we wandered along several shady streets to take a round about route to the battery park where we found a shady bench to sit and relax. After that respite we again meandered in the shade along King St to the Market before I took Thistle back to the car for some cold water and the chance to rest. He had several opportunities to have a drink on our strolls as a large number of places put out bowls of water for visiting pups. Charleston is a very dog friendly place. WhileThistle rested mum and I had a late lunch at a favorite dining spot, Blossoms. It was nice to sit down in the a/c to relax and eat before heading back to Mum's.
