I did it! 9200 words... I have a rough draft, and it might suck, but I consider it a personal victory, whether it gets posted in the antho or not. :D  I'm tempted to read it but I'm exhausted and my should is complaining loudly... spend two hours with a bag of frozen peas on it this afternoon.

I'm hoping that my Chapter 4 will be posted by next weekend. I have chapter 5 and 6 outlined.

LOL... no. I haven't even read it yet. I'm sure there's a ton of work before I would consider sending it. :)  I'm not sure it works, so I might hate it.

No one could ever hate any story you've written. Dislike certain aspects, perhaps, but not the story as a whole.

I've tried fried pickle chips. They are not bad, but if I had my choice I would take fried mushrooms, or lots of other things first.

I've had them here before, but they were beer-battered pickle spears.  Quite tasty.  Then I had some at a bbq joint in Florida... OMG  they were the chips, not spears, and I couldn't stop eating them, they were so freaking good.  🤤

G'day y'all. The day has dawned sunny and bright with considerably cooler temps and less humidity. A lovely morning after a very blustery afternoon and evening. My head aches. It started mid-morning yesterday and has yet to ease. I think it's back to bed for me ...
