Okay... on my way to the  torture chamber.   On a good note, my central air installation was started yesterday... power supply is done and new thermostat installed... and will be completed on Tuesday.

OMG... that was painful. My son siad I was white as a ghost when I was done. I'm in all the good ranges, though, so it all looks good. Now I need to put some ice on... already see some swelling.

Anyone else experiencing an increase in mosquitoes?  They are normally gone by now, but there are millions out there.

I'm bored, and wallowing in self pity... wish I could write something, but typing and fixing this post takes forever... looks like Gone Fishing will be the last thing I write for a while... oh well...  should get my licence back in a couple more weeks... I hope....

No idea if it's your way but you could try a voice recorder.

Getting your license back will be good for your spirit and until then a goal to reach, I know it is for mom. She's stopping/reducing her pills and we're doing "driving lessons" . She's being more sure of herself every times a d even talking about a new car of her own and driving down to see my cousin in Grenoble in August

You could always try speech to text.  But it's also ok to take a hiatus to heal.

We've reach 1kg of strawberries for jams! I've been freezing the strawberries the last 2 weeks as they've been smaller and fewer and dad and my bro had enough to turn into jam

Perhaps a little bronzer before the next session. Seriously, sorry that it hurts but excellent news that your acheiving the results the therapist is looking for. Ice for swelling, I perfer massage ... 😯 ... my bad, different swelling.

We deal with them all summer. Nothing has been said about a greater than usual number.

OMG makes me think of when I'm waiting for mom during her or session  she's know her therapist for 6 years and they're pretty much friends by now. Wednesday I heard "get on all 4, exam time! Too bad I don't have my gloves" "I'm tying you up, I've been dreaming about doing it"

Hey, Clo.     We get plenty of strawberries at the farmer's market. Jam is delicious with cheddar-rosemary scones.

No mosquitoes here so far, despite the unusually wet season. Guess we lucked out.

Well, boarding should be happening for Mum's flight home. I stayed at the airport long enough to watch her pass through the TSA security checkpoint and get halfway to her gate. Harrisburg is a relatively small airport so I could see the gate and knew she would be okay from there.

It feels uncomfortably strange to know I am not going to see her for three months. Except for the first 2.5 weeks of last November and the half-dozen days I spent travelling to and from SC for doctor visits we have spent the last 9 months together. I made her morning coffee each of those days. I want to cry ...

Actually, by now they should be finished boarding and closing the door in preparation to takeoff.
