It has been suggested that takeaway chicken-and-chips (french fries for the North Americans) may be easiest. The person below me is trying to talk their boss into sending them to New Orleans on a business trip.

My boss is such a miserable penny-pinching slave-driving bastard that he makes me pay for evarything, all the time, buisness trips included. (yep, I'm self-employed). The person below me hopes that Graeme gets his trip to New Orleans!!!

Victoria is entering day 50 of major bushfires that are still not controlled -- AND our normal bushfire season is just starting....

The person below me has recently completed a very nice video game and is having withdrawl symptoms already! I hope they make Gears of War 2, and it's as enthralling as the first.

The person below recently replaced something on their car/bike/boat/plane/other mode of transportation that they had previously thought was impossible with conventional tools. Guess what, a thin, flat slab of metal can be used to compress a caliper piston after the new brake pads have been slipped into place! Hehe.

I come from a family of engineers and other mechanically minded people. My dad was an automotive engineer. My eldest brother was a motor mechanic, and my other two brothers were mechanical engineers. Me? I'm a software engineer. Anything hardware related is for someone else to look after. The person below me had a scare when someone was late home.
