I hope they aren't too near. I've found plenty in rotting wood nearby, so as long as they aren't getting in the structure you will hopefully be ok. He clearly made a conscious decision to play the role, probably because he wanted to make sure early on that he's not going to be trapped in the Harry Potter role. My only reservation is his age....
