i thought we could talk about The Searcher here
as a Beta reader for tim, i really hope you enjoy the story!

tim he is a odd character. He made a choice with his parents blessing but the path was not his. This duty of his and his keeping the dead souls will corrupt him. I’m thinking the Masters know that the man-boy will force him to come to grips with job / duty / family. All is not as it appears. In the end we will find that Stavor was working for evil. 

But what do I know I’m only a reader.

He is an odd character. I can't say a lot but there are lots of depths, twists and turns for all these characters. I guess that's the joy of writing them and i hope you see that as you go through the story.

tim has done a lot of thought on this story. he tells a wonderful tale. It reads like a H R Tolkien story. So yeah he has a lot to be proud of

he puts in the time and effort. Changes took nearly a year of research to write properly. It's important to him that he puts out a good effort and a good story.

tim that is what I love about this type of story and game never look at the obvious there is always a red herring or 2 or 3. The fun part as a reader is to see if what I think is going to happen and what you as the writer gives us.

Michael Sir and it shows in his writing - to many period stories the authors only do part of the work applying current thinking to past events. So I’m along for the ride I have buckle in and my arms are in the safety position.

I wonder how much trouble(?) Stravor is in going against Hemothracene, by sending Keter back. Once Stravor said okay to him coming to on the journey I knew he would be important. But he seems he might be a catalyst for things to come? 

Also I like the images set in your world. The Ones Who Watch sound interestingly frightening.

There wasn't a lot of research i could do here. But there is some, nothing like Changes.  But to me fantasy still has to believable. You have to be able to trust in the world your characters are in.

Perhaps we can ask @AC Benus to post the pic he showed me after he first read this story .. of how the Ones Who Watch  looked to him. It's a great pic.   It's funny, i was a bit apprehensive showing AC this story.  I honestly didn't think he'd enjoy it.   But i've been wrong before.

tim - True we see this thru your eyes but you took the extra effort to tell us about the glowing sword or there where statues in the room you made some authors would have not taken the time some of them would have more sex less story but you had more story and enough sex. That will keep your readers and fans coming back for more. You also brought a D/s to it as well Stavor being a sub/slave  to Hemothracene and the men who watch. The interact I’m waiting on is Stavor and the man-boy there is more there.

Well its not really D/s .. Stravor is a Searcher for his God ... not a submissive.. the prayers and kneeling etc are just like religious people here do for their god.  He is a servant really.
