We do have M&M's up here, but they probably are less popular than Smarties. Interesting fact, M&M's were a copy 4 years after Nestle came out with Smarties  Now you are smarter due to LPW as well  

 

 

 

Oh my, I went and researched my statement because I heard about years ago. Turns out 

However, both candies were predated by the French candy dragée, which was chocolate with a hardened sugary outer layer. Sound familiar? 

Both the creator of Smarties and M&M's met each others in Europe and they observed that soldiers in the Spanish Civil war were snacking on dragée. Coincidence, I think not.

Aww thanks Steve  Dragées are very common at weddings and christenings. They're put into little bags as gift for guests. Some have an almond inside.

Here in the U.S. it's National Labor Day. Labor Day on first Monday of every September recognizes the men and women who labor to build this country. Through a time-honored tradition with roots in the coordinated efforts of the labor movement of the 1800s, we salute the American workforce. 

It's a day to watch those Hummingbirds that might enter your yard. 

It's Blueberry Popsicles today all around.
