While Liam got a good outcome for his compensation claim, it is unfortunate that Liams future after such an accident is dependent on how wealthy/well covered the person at fault is. Obviously you are writing a story, not some sort of political or social commentary, so this is an observation rather than specific comment. Love that after al the progress through the chapter, where things roll out with comparatively few hiccups (hiccoughs), you do drop a significant clanger in the penultimate sentence! Thanks

Like so much at the top of the tree (any tree): the talent that got you there is only half the battle. It's your headspace and how you live in it that enable you to cope and to thrive. Very hard battle. Great story. Thanks

Amazing scenes, really well written. But that foot thing...really hard to read...I positively hate anyone touching my feet! It makes my toes curl even typing this. You did make my partner laugh as he watched me read it...he guessed the subject matter based on my reaction! Must be well written! Thanks...just No more toes....please😚

16oz (450grams for the rest of the world)...really? I cannot even imagine eating a steak that size... my boy and I work on 300gms...for two! Great wedding. Glad it went off as planned. Very memorable day for all.

Hey! I really would love to agree with you. In theory, man buns are ridiculous, BUT, I have seen some seriously sexy blokes where the man bun thing works and seeing them somehow my insides go all jello like. Now given my man and I have been together for 20 years and I am where my major issue is retirement income this seems stupid verging on infantile, and yet....💥 Btw note to author: mad story! Enjoying it so far! -

"Sensitive as a panzer"! Where would we all be with out young adults, often female, who somehow have a universal understanding that somehow us older folk have missed? 😁. The best bit is always in 10 years time when those same people realise how much we learned in the intervening period! @Rigby Taylor 's comment hits nail on head. The story is a pleasure to read.

Where was that Dr umpteen years ago? She could have headed off a hell of a lot of drama! Great character. Love the way she keeps surprising JJ. The trip to Lord Preston's memorial should be interesting...I think we are all looking forward to Sabrina....the Widow? I have said this before but the fact you have a life, outside writing for us, constantly surprises me!

It was great that they came across so many sympathetic doctors and support staff in the medical profession. Sadly, not always the case. I would imagine prosthesis for children would be difficult; the child would grow necessitating a new prosthesis. Quite an expensive proposition! Thanks for a great story

Calling a child "Heinz 57" is rough; you'd have to wonder what sort of adult would do that... The approach to the alterations is interesting. The advantage with fictional characters is that the alterations will work! Thanks great read.

I suspect someone has an insight into fear of flying. As someone who previously held a private pilots licence, I have never quite understood why flying is any more scary that half a dozen other things we do in the 21 century, but your description implied a considerable amount of knowledge/experience in the area...🤔 Great story, yes, the random "drop in" characters do add dimension to your story. Thanks.

Not how Graham works. He doesn't interview people as much as set them up to talk, among other guests as much as with him. Also after that dramatic an attempt on their lives I am not sure it would make good teev. They do seem to attract problems, our pair of lovers. Poor granny...way too much stress and anxiety!

Great update, glad your muse refound you, or vice versa. I too am concerned with 74 yo widows flitting across the world...it is hard at that age, even at the pointy end. One piece of pedantry: I cannot accept "drug" as any part of the verb "to drag", unless of course he did drug her, possibly with something injectable, on the dance floor, which would be a very different issue!
