    Including @BayAreaSooner, when I was in Berlin I had a chance to visit their holocaust memorial and the site of what was the headquarters of the SS and both were sobering. I will be in Munich in November and will travel to Dachau. It is critically important that we never forget, once you start on the slippery slope where does it end? This chapter had me on the edge of my seat!

    Can’t add much to the comments as they encapsulate my feelings. As an aside, Louise Fletcher gave a performance of a life time, to this day the ending of that movie still bothers me. As another aside, the number of successful careers this movie launched is staggering…. Finally….where is Mr Carter? Hopefully seeking help….

    What he said, right on the mark @Summerabbacat and as @dboggs9700 noted and I have mentioned before, I strongly suspect Casey ain’t done with Levi, as when it comes to Levi, Casey still has an “urge “ to satisfy….and somehow I hope Jamie finds a home…. Now, where are the damned tissues!!

    You did well and this was just as exciting as any other plot line…no we know Miller likes it rough and while I would not be opposed to his ending, I love the idea of what the two snipers can use him to have some fun.

    I think not offering to pay full price is a wise move. If it is accepted then we know his father has suffered some business setbacks. Wanting to know how the plantation works is fine and he could get by with that knowledge. Understanding why it works is all the difference….the difference between status quo and thriving. It would be my hope that Sam’s last journey from San Francisco brings a brother as well! We will wait patiently and see!
