Here I have to disagree with Shakespeare as to parting is such sweet sorrow....Part of me hopes that there is a path forward for the two of them....Hopefully, and most likely futilely, there are several chapters left. Would either of them ever fully be welcomed on either side of the river?

Well...I was gonna post 14 stories for the anthology, and then...I woke up....

I understand I may have been a bit harsh in my comment last week, and while I would like to blame it on sheer stupidity, which is usually the case with me. Having gotten back from a wonderful vacation and then a plane ride from hell, filled with tiny, crawling germ factories, I had a head cold from hell. It's been nearly 10 years. Along with the news that one of my closest friends since 1969 is losing a 5-year battle with lung cancer. I'm not using these as excuses; I know better than to temper my reactions in my comments. Yes, I can be harsh, but I try to be fair, and in the case of my comment last week, I totally missed the mark. For that, I can only offer the author my... What does Mia Culpa mean? If you’re in the habit of saying mia culpa or mia copa, I’ll say you may have been led astray. The correct phrase to use is always mea culpa in response to being shown your mistake. While mia might work if you’re speaking Italian and referring to my something, it’s not how the Romans owned up to their oopsie. I'm, along with the jury in my head, still processing these last two chapters, and will have a comment with the next. And for all of you smart asses folks out there who are wondering, yes...I still remember when dinosaurs roamed the streets of our neighborhood.

JR Ewing was played by a B-list actor whose claim to fame was starring in the television sitcom I Dream of Jeanie. He could have taken the role in Dallas or another sitcom called Waverly Wonders, which cast Joe Namath as the lead when Hagman played JR Ewing. An interesting note: his Mother was Mary Martin, a well-known and respected actress on Broadway...Waverly Wonders did not make it to a second season... I haven't taken all the nails out of the ends of the 2x4s @Summerabbacat and she can stop by anytime!!! Three things surprise me, some not so much, and another pleases me... For all the years Jason and Taylor have known each other, for him to ask Taylor if he was a "fag"...was very eye-opening, and when combined with Taylor's unease he mentioned earlier about the "gay" jokes at lunchtime...Jason is truly coming across as extremely self-centered...Forgive me for using this line again...Jason is like a river a mile wide but an inch or two deep... Cynthia is a star...I have to wonder how far she will go in 'protecting' Taylor and trimming that female dog's nails.... The following shows me Taylor does have testimonials, two of them to be exact, no longer hiding underneath his little friend...Finally, he's showing some 'spark'....
