What a remarkable thing for Michael's parents to not only contemplate, but do, along with Madiline and Colin to adopt him. A sad commentary on our healthcare system, where we go screaming like heck to avoid 'socialized' healthcare and eagerly embrace insurance that denies lifesaving coverages, 99% of the time because of the effects on profits....Sorry, not sorry for the rant... I'm loving this story even tho we had this little tid-bit...

My point exactly, whatever assets she has is subject to forfeiture if in fact there was some skullduggery at play here... My concerns here is that if they go to court, the Judge assigned will be the one who hated Mickey at the competition in DC...I hope that Judge is blatant with his biases giving grounds to take it to SCOTUS, where Mickey and team will ream a whole bunch of a-holes in winning the case...it's gonna be a bumpy ride folks!!!

As suspected the Step-bitch, which was/is much more than she seems, her reaction to seeing Drew’s father’s back was telling. One has to wonder if the destruction of the company is actually a programmed looting of assets to the benefit of her’s…. Needless to say, there will be some rough sledding and vituperative personal attacks from the “holier than thou” crowds…to me the key will be in the details..they will need to dig deep into past transactions, emails, and meeting notes…somewhere in there will be the silver bullet and hopefully a bucket of water to toss on the witch…. It is fantastic news about both becoming uncles!!

Thanks for this chapter, it is appreciated.... The best I can say about Cornwallis is he's a twit, dolt, and will fall short of the task at hand... I think George is correct in his observation of Talleyrand, commerce is his motivation....
